Both of us right leaning, but me more so, especially since being a recent left leaning. Anyways, smoking cigars and drinking some whiskey or beer a few times a month, when conversation turned to faith, I just remained steady despite his jokes. I’d just turn it to back to politics or share some memes when it got under my skin, nothing major.
His daughter wanted to come to church for Youth Group on Wednesdays, he figured why not. So I’d occasionally pick her up and take her along with my daughter. Then she asked to come on Sundays, he came once or twice then stopped, but she persisted and I just remained steady to push when he asked or needed.
COVID and lockdowns took a toll on him, then being threatened with the loss of his job if he took the jab. He kept asking, I kept just bringing him to church. Over the last two months he became a regular lurker and today he went all in.

Hopefully, some of you are like me and have a lurker-type, and my success encourages you to keep that steady strain and save another.
Good night, pedes!

Getting married in 15 minutes, pedes. Wish me luck!
