We've released an update a short time ago to address a few key issues and concerns.

  • fixed replying to private messages
  • fixed a performance issue that was making the site almost as slow as Reddit.
  • started the process of removing Google resources (namely, jQuery)
  • fixed search results
  • added "previous" pagination button
  • ... and countless other, small changes.

The main point of this thread, however, is suggestions and bug reports.

We've been internally collecting a list and are working through them based on what is most important.

This is our public Trello board where you can see the bugs and features that are being worked on.

Use this thread to note any other bug reports and suggestions that you have.

You can also continue reporting bugs in Discord and elsewhere on the site.

Amazing site.

My suggestion is to keep cyber security at a fore front of your minds.

We are target numero uno for communist cucks who will try to DDOS the site, try to get the ISP to shut us down (like 8chan) and many other methods.

Just please prepare for the attacks. It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when

Upvote on this one. Batten down the hatches on everything possible. Multifactor auth on the registrar, transfer lock active, use strong alphanumerics on all possible reset authorization codes, keep the DNS separate from the registrar, full backups of all hosts in a form that can be easily restored to other providers, ensure the site code is able to function with a domain change before it's needed, etc.

Basically, take lessons from how the Pirate Bay has managed to stay online. Stay nimble, boys.

From what I can tell, free speech infrastructure providers are okay with forums that are well moderated, so thedonald.win should not have a problem finding infrastructure providers.

Yeah well since has being well moderated kept some loser on buzzfeed from posting a smear article?

Enjoying knowing that the lurking libtards blood pressure is rising as they realise they have no power right now, just keep defences up because they'll try anything.

This am had my first adventure with a shill pro sharia anti American creep. As far as I am concerned, it was an attack ( at least on me).

8chan was behind many deaths and shootings, I doubt they'll go after us like them.

No shit, 8chan did nothing wrong. That shooter’s comments were on other social media but the media conveniently focused only on 8chan.

This place will be targeted within 90 days, just for the loss of Reddit advertising money. It won’t be a public shooting like 8chan. Look for content that breaks site rules that will be widely reported by media sites even if taken down right away.

But, until we know who/why/how what’s his name decided to shoot up Las Vegas, who knows what (else?) a desperate deep state might try.

Its not all 8chan's fault but since the manifesto was from a frequenter, it's pretty easy to put the blame on them. I doubt anyone here is going to shoot up some place.
