We've released an update a short time ago to address a few key issues and concerns.

  • fixed replying to private messages
  • fixed a performance issue that was making the site almost as slow as Reddit.
  • started the process of removing Google resources (namely, jQuery)
  • fixed search results
  • added "previous" pagination button
  • ... and countless other, small changes.

The main point of this thread, however, is suggestions and bug reports.

We've been internally collecting a list and are working through them based on what is most important.

This is our public Trello board where you can see the bugs and features that are being worked on.

Use this thread to note any other bug reports and suggestions that you have.

You can also continue reporting bugs in Discord and elsewhere on the site.

I know that this is a full copy of Reddit’s old public source code, which has the capability to have more than one discussion forum. It would be really nice if we could have some sub-forums for specific purposes. I don’t know what the team’s vision for this place is but I really think sub-forums for specific purposes would be useful. Sub-forums like: strictly Republican/conservative/Trump news would be great so news articles don’t have to compete with memes and they can be sourced and collated into arguments for the broader web. I also think it’d be great to have a strictly election-politics sub-forum so we can better coordinate and spread President Trump’s message. Others have suggested a Second Amendment sub-forum and evening a HottiesforTrump sub-forum. I think it’d be best if new sub-forum creation stayed in the hands of the admin team so this place doesn’t become too fractured but I think news and election politics sub-forums would be very popular and help us be more effective in the upcoming election.

I second this 100%. The most important ones we need is an out reach sub. This way we can coordinate brigading so we can spread our message and help convince people on other sites. Our #1 priority should be new voters and getting people to the polls. And memes and shitposting is obviously key for that
