We've released an update a short time ago to address a few key issues and concerns.

  • fixed replying to private messages
  • fixed a performance issue that was making the site almost as slow as Reddit.
  • started the process of removing Google resources (namely, jQuery)
  • fixed search results
  • added "previous" pagination button
  • ... and countless other, small changes.

The main point of this thread, however, is suggestions and bug reports.

We've been internally collecting a list and are working through them based on what is most important.

This is our public Trello board where you can see the bugs and features that are being worked on.

Use this thread to note any other bug reports and suggestions that you have.

You can also continue reporting bugs in Discord and elsewhere on the site.

I would HIGHLY recommend you to move your domain name from GoDaddy to somewhere else. They are the scummiest of them all. Epik is the most free speech tolerant provider from what I know. Nobody should be supporting GoDaddy imo.

Also cloudflare is "problematic", i think Gab had already problems with them.

No, Gab is still with CloudFlare. CF is the CDN and DDOS protection service. They did ban DailyStormer and 8chan though. DailyStormer was banned because they were blatantly claiming that CloudFlare supports them or something (which is a big non no). 8chan was banned after the shootings in El Paso I believe. Though since 8chan allows un-moderated anonymous posts which thedonald.win doesn't, I think we might be okay. I hate cloudflare but they are probably one of the best CDN and DDOS prevention.

We use CF for all of our controversial sites and they have been great. They get monthly CAIR threats for some of our client's content and CF simply forwards the email on to us.
