The article mentions how the Chinese managed to purge a lot of CIA assets during Obama’s first term. I remember reading accounts of how the Chinese govt would execute these people in the courtyard of their office building in front of everyone they worked with to send a message. Brutal but efficient. I also remember reading recently that the US intelligence program in China has yet to recover.
