I'd invite you to look at 18 USC § 119 (private citizens) and 18 U.S.C. Sec 371 (18 U.S.C. Sec 119) (government employees.)
It's not technically legal. What constitutes doxxing is somewhat gray, however. For example, posting someone's IP address isn't, but tying it to a specific address is.

Thanks for the info. I don't support doxxing anyone but just wanted to know if it's legal.
