Unlike r/The_Donald, thedonald.win should have a special flair to it to further push away our rebbit origins. I'm thinking of something like 4chan's system where you could post images when replying to a thread. Although reaction pics can be distracting; they can work very well with subs that focus on specific topics (such as this). Maybe in the future we could have symbols to mark important figures like Tom Fitton and Moderators. I think this could make the current wasted space a lot more interesting. These are just some constructive ideas; I'd love to hear what others (including you) think about how we could help grow the site into something much greater!

Honestly im fond of this format and would like it to stay as is.
Oh yes. I would be all for that. If enough support is coming in hopefully get an app going. I am always on mobile and prefer a user friendly app over a webpage.
Agreed. I appreciate what the mods are doing but i dont like the idea of wasting all of this traffic. This site could generate an absolute fortune, maybe we could do something cool with it. Like send a ton of salt to NYT on the daily.
I can definitely see the appeal that the current system provides, but what concerns me is that we could be wasting a very influential opportunity for what this could become. I wouldn't really mind if it changed; but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try.

That's why I think now would be the time to test things, maybe in the distant future there could be demos we could ask to participate in? These are just personalized (albeit somewhat unpopular) ideas that might be more appealing since we're now independent from Reddit.
Na keep it simple while adding some neat and useful original features overtime.
With the amount of work that has gone into building this site, I doubt a complete format change is realistic at this point.
Seriously the quality of this forum would improve dramatically if we could add to our messages pictures, in the form of clickable thumbnails
And of course, we need to know who is important, it's a must have feature if we want to have AMA events…
