This is a great site for sure, however I'm seeing too many people trying to "karma farm" by saying to upvote their post. This isn't Reddit, let's not bring something about like that over

I just think people are happy that their posts aren’t being nuked into oblivion.
You're probably correct. So much to celebrate and so many like myself feeling free to post after lurking for years.
