I know that this is a full copy of Reddit’s old public source code, which has the capability to have more than one discussion forum. It would be really nice if we could have some sub-forums for specific purposes. I don’t know what the team’s vision for this place is but I really think sub-forums for specific purposes would be useful. Sub-forums like: strictly Republican/conservative/Trump news would be great so news articles don’t have to compete with memes and they can be sourced and collated into arguments for the broader web. I also think it’d be great to have a strictly election-politics sub-forum so we can better coordinate and spread President Trump’s message. Others have suggested a Second Amendment sub-forum and evening a HottiesforTrump sub-forum. I think it’d be best if new sub-forum creation stayed in the hands of the admin team so this place doesn’t become too fractured but I think news and election politics sub-forums would be very popular and help us be more effective in the upcoming election. Thoughts?
