Let's put ourselves into the position of the computer repair guy: like most people, he isn't going to go through people's e-mails and pay attention to them (regular people won't). But something like CP? Oh, that catches your attention right away. So, he contacts the FBI, and apparently they give him the "you'll be quiet if you know what's good for you", so he turns it over to Rudy's attorney. And of course (like any other regular person who doesn't want to get in trouble or be called a bad person) he denies seeing any CP because that's what most normal people would say.
My first instinct too was that the repairman had seen CP, although it's not implausible that he might be a nosy guy who enjoys reading people's private affairs while he's repairing their computers. It's difficult to say.

Let's put ourselves into the position of the computer repair guy: like most people, he isn't going to go through people's e-mails and pay attention to them (regular people won't). But something like CP? Oh, that catches your attention right away. So, he contacts the FBI, and apparently they give him the "you'll be quiet if you know what's good for you", so he turns it over to Rudy's attorney. And of course (like any other regular person who doesn't want to get in trouble or be called a bad person) he denies seeing any CP because that's what most normal people would say.
My first instinct too was that the repairman had seen CP, although it's not implausible that he might be a nosy guy who enjoys reading people's private affairs while he's repairing their computers. It's difficult to say.
