I bet some "moderates", and obviously never trumper voters and dems, will see it as a goofy hit job on a troubled son. Biden will use it as a tool to garner sympathy from them, alluding to their own communities drug and mental health problems and struggles in their families. They will say it's just another one of Donald and friends bully tactics and shows how scummy they are. Deals with CCP companies can have lots of other sketchy things, but if this was being arranged while Biden was out of office - it seems much less damning. Sure, it could be related to prior influence peddling and abuse-of-office, but we would need a lot more evidence.
