I’m kind of ignorant of legal stuff at times, but why wouldn’t he just release it to the internet to wiki leaks or something similar ?? Maybe Doing so would give time for them to spin the story and deny it before they are prosecuted??
Right now they control the chain of custody and its contents. You dump it all to the internet, and not only would it probably be illegal to download (because of Hunters porn stash), people could also have the chance to plant disinformation, i.e. purport something is in there that isn't, even potentially disseminate an altered copy that makes the "discovery" seem more real. How would this help Biden? By bringing into question the validity of things found in it, which they can then convolute into a mere hoax and use that to distract from the real things discovered.
WikiLeaks is merely a publisher, no different than NY Post except perhaps with a better record for accuracy. The media was pretty successful in their smears against Wikileaks last time around so this time around they took a different approach. Giving it to dozens in the media then leaking bits on the internet and forcing the media people to start telling the story while also giving it to multiple law enforcement agencies ensuring law enforcement does their job, too. It’s genius, really.
