The fact that everyone started totally freaking out after the videos of terrible lockdowns in Wuhan, People welded into building etc of some reason caught everyone off guard. As if China wasn’t a totalitarian regime. Of course tyrannical regimes will be horrible and overbearing on their populace. They have been doing that shit the entire time. It was simply highlighted with Covid. The chyna virus was not the beginning of terrible draconian, totalitarian actions in Chiba. It was just Tuesday lol

Many viewed their actions through the lense of liberty, where as the prudent thing to do so as to avoid the over reaction that tried to destroy the world, was view their actions as those of a communist state being totalitarian. The Chinese government is good to no one. This must always be remembered!
