If it was just his problems, that's one thing. Lots of people have a drug addict fuck up in the family. What's unacceptable is Joe's reaction to it, his failure to properly distance himself, set boundaries, and force his son to get help. Instead he used him in the most inappropriate and likely illegal way and if this is true allowed Hunter to victimize other family members.
