I wonder if they’re just blocking known hashed for images they want to suppress? Try editing them in paint. Only a tiny edit is needed, such as a tiny dot somewhere then exporting/saving the image as a new .jpg file.
That new file should be able to be shared as usual.
I think this is the answer. It barely loaded for a second before telling me it can't be sent. I'll try your suggestion. I wonder if it is the image on the left or the right though? It could be detecting text in images also.

Use an image editing program to change the images. Add a water mark. Crop it in a unique manner. Add a border. Change the size. Eventually you will alter the "fingerprint" of the image enough that it will slip past the filters. Try to do this with out making it look dumb or doctored obviously. I think your best bet would be to "mount" the photo on a colored back ground so it's slightly larger and even off center maybe. If FB is using advanced facial recognition AI then you might be fucked but I doubt it.
