I'm explaining recent pedo Hunter news to someone. Their points were as follows:
- How can this be proven true?
- Since election is close, both parties will be claiming dirt on the other
- If fbi have it, why didn't they say anything? probably because it's untrue
- Twitter had to ban that site because of disinformation
- The news say Rudy Giuliani is corrupt and his own daughter is voting biden
- What does it matter what hunter did, just look at Melania's own dirty past.
Basically, if any of the fake news isn't covering it, it must not be true. Also, everybody is corrupt and biased, but things about Trump are probably true since he's Trump...
Think it's worth it to explain?
Ask them: given that it’s true that MSM & big tech lean massively, provably left (proved by donation records, public statements, Project Veritas etc), if the email story WAS true, wouldn’t it be suppressed and denied exactly like what you’re seeing? Remind them that Joe Biden has NOT said the emails are fake. He’s said “it’s a smear campaign” but he has NOT said they’re fake. If they were fake wouldn’t that be the first thing he’d say? Ask your friend why they think Obama didn’t endorse Joe until he absolutely had to, until all the other candidates dropped out. Ask them why Joe took a four-day break from campaigning as soon as the story broke, two weeks out from the election. Ask them if Joe would bass his entire campaign on a lie, on the “fine people” hoax, what makes them think he wouldn’t lie to protect his own family. Ask them how they explain Joe being worth millions and millions on a Congress salary. Ask them how a crackhead like Hunter gets the Chinese government to invest $1.5 BILLION in his startup just after his visit with Joe. Ask them why they hate legal immigrants just try to make a new life for themselves, like Melania. Ask them if they understand that the problem isn’t Hunter’s personal problems, it’s that he was the bagman for Joe selling public office.
Ask them what would it take to convince them the story is true - if the answer is “nothing would convince me” then you know you’re wasting your time. You’re almost certainly wasting your time.
Btw I love how Rudy’s daughter voting for Biden proves Rudy is “corrupt” but Hunter being a crackhead bag man doesn’t mean anything... 🤦🏻♀️

I guess this is an example of someone I'd call a non-political, headline reader. Meaning they're not planning to vote and don't really know all the details of mostly all of the topics you've listed. I'm talking not even really understanding left-right differences. I believe they're truly neither for nor against Trump, yet entirely pick up only headlines from msm.
I'm certain the similarly non-informed voters make up a huge portion of all voters, and this is an example of how they may take this news. Or at least, I hope most of them don't take it this way!
If they’re not planning to vote, maybe ask them apart from all the noise what do they really care about? Is there anything that would get them to vote (for Trump, obviously!)
They did say if this news were true, it'd be horrifying. I usually go for just all the disgusting things Dems do as a way to see Trump as their better alternative.
One of the huge achievements of the Trump administration that never gets reported is his attacks on child trafficking. That’s a big reason why he built the wall, to stop women & girls being trafficked across the border. He’s done amazing work re human trafficking, Ivanka has been a part of it too. Heaps of EOs, a couple of taskforces on various fronts, literally hundreds of arrests and thousands of children saved - and crickets from the MSM.
