I'm a lot less worried now, though. They were successfully boiling the frog, but now they've blown it.

The road to hell is paved in good intentions. THEY are so locked into their pathology, they don't even know what they've done.

FREE SPEECH MATTERS!

Lets have yet another hearing. The 'out of touchers' have some stern words this time.

Banning should be banned.

Not kidding. Censorship on any service that functions as a communications system should be illegal to the tune of devastating 8-9 figure fines per incident unless the content being censored is itself illegal under US law.

If, as the detractors claim, outlawing "moderation" of offensive content would result in every website ending up like 8chan? Then clearly what SJWs consider "offensive" is in fact the majority opinion, else it would be overwhelmed and drowned out by the "tolerant". The easily-offended will just have to grow some thicker skin.

Leftists would start brigading us here if we couldn't "moderate"? Then they'd have to contend with the fact that their platforms could no longer prevent us from doing the same to them. Forum invasions would self-regulate for basically the same reason you don't see murders happen at gun shows: people know not to fuck when everyone else can fuck right back.
