There’s literally a law in California that you don’t have to live in the district you are running to represent. Which is so insane!

I think it has something to do with district boundaries being redrawn every few years (and you could get drawn out of your district) but it’s pretty ridiculous. Maxine Waters clearly hasn’t lived in her district for a very long time.

Nancy Pelosi actually lives in SF. And I’m pretty sure Devin Nunez lives in his district. There are others who do, but plenty who don’t. And yeah it’s BS but probably won’t change unfortunately.
