Day 1 of online learning for my kid this year, I took the day off and spent the day observing. I noticed three times other students (not the same student, either) had a zoom background that either said "BLACK LIVES MATTER" or had the blm fist image or some combination of the two.

At NO POINT did any teacher ask them to take it down, either.
