If you ever go to the NYC subreddit you'll see endless posts sniffing their own farts about how great NYC is and how awful everywhere else is, but at the same time posts about shootings, gang violence, how much they hate Cuomo and hate each other. It's really paradoxical.

They have another lifeline. The government is just keeping them from it.

So many businesses shuttered. I do a lot of cold calling businesses in nyc/nys for one of my businesses and the amount of business owners telling me they are closing or my call only ringing/hitting voicemail is why I started another business that specializes in roast to order coffee. I still cold call in the first half of every day but something has to change because people's lives depend on getting back to prepandemic employment
