The bible is our best attempt at comprehension of events that were difficult to explain. It's not a hardline must follow text. It's been translated so many times and always is someones opinion of what the writer meant. It's not god word... It's man's attempt at explaining it. Same as we still do today.

Preaching aside, My interpretation of all those passages in the bible that might be against a gay relationships... To me they were an attempt at curbing a behaviour that still exists today... sodomy of the young against their will. Not willful union of people who love each other.
This drive that makes people of the same sex attracted to each other, even some that change sex naturally. Is observed in many creatures... looks like design to me...
9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
When do devout Catholics say enough of this?

its pretty clear from Jesus himself:

They may not inherit the kingdom that's between them and god to sort out. Doesn't mean the hate is justified either.
