I saw that too. Someone forgot to "merge down" think the theory was they found the source document too.

Don't know if true or not, but definitely remember some fuckery was going on

Assuming you're talking about Obama's BC, yes.

I personally downloaded the .pdf from whitehouse.gov the same day it dropped.

It was a layered .pdf - i.e., it was constructed from various images. Complete fake - but it shut the birther movement down. Who was the front man of that movement? (He's your favorite President now!)

I opened it the day it as released as well, and determined it was fake. But then I went online for confirmation of my findings and found lots of info saying the layers were expected to be there. I had my skepticisms, but looking back now, I see exactly what happened. "Correct The Record" had gotten me.
