That's the problem, though. Joe couldn't put a stop to it because he'd been using Robert Hunter Biden as his money man vacuum cleaner for so long that the amount of blackmail material his son had on Joe was tremendous.
Joe was powerless to stop it without destroying himself - all that, of course, assumes that Joe would even care to stop it, given his predilection for pedophilia and sexual abuse himself.
I've been trying to wrap my head around who on these emails will come forward to corroborate and one thought I had was it's Hunter himself. I think the odds are quite low of that being the case, but the more I think about it being him the more it sorta does make sense. Maybe pops threatened him and this is his revenge? He IS a crack addict that knows too much after all. Again, I think odds are quite low this is the case, but how fucked would that be? I wish there was a betting pool on this!
