Federal bureau of injustice. Who watches the watchmen? Why is there no elected committee presiding over this? I think your country needs a commission that is 100% transparent by way of fisa who oversees potential criminal activity. In that way, if some sht goes down, they are responsible for bringing it to public attention. If that's not enough, the public needs to be allowed access to what, specifically, this oversight committee has been made aware of, but one democratically elected.
As much good as Trump has brought, it's quite clear that, even to his most staunch supporter, he's made some terrible hiring decisions..... Not to mention, how bullsht it would be if a president can just hire his own, in case of political persecution or, simply, to cover his own tracks. Therefore, I think it should be incumbent on the population to elect their own, for better or for worse, and should there ever be a bad decision, there's always a next election.
This goes for all the other three letter departments that have such control over the country. The entire point of the three co-equal branches of government was to distribute power, so the idea of having these departments answer to nobody is, in actuality, consolidating said power. If there exists a department that answers to no pre-existing branch, they must answer to the people, imo, or we may festerfrom the inside.
Whatever number gets posted here in the end, it's a drop in the bucket compared to the number of FBI agents that believe the agency has been corrupted.
