I definitely think the Speakership is in play. We either take the House, or the dems pick someone else. Who replaces her is the real issue. Her being forced out is a sort of power vacuum, she's been HBIC so long, with few willing to take her on, and her squashing any potential alliances against here (See: Tulsi Gabbard), they're gonna be scrambling a while to right the ship in her wake. Which is great for us!

And, stop with the AOC bullshit. They're not making her Speaker. That would be political suicide.

My real worry is that when Trump wins, they make Kamala speaker. Unless they lose the House, but sadly I don't think that's gonna happen.

Kamala is a Senator. She is not in the House, so she would not be Speaker. Rest easy on that one.

There is no Constitutional requirement for the Speaker to be a current member of the House. All of them have been, so far...with the shit the Dems have been pulling, nothing is impossible now.

So what I'm hearing is if Biden somehow wins and we take the House, GEOTUS can be Speaker and next in line for the presidency after VP. He can then lead impeachment proceedings against Biden and Heels Up and finish out his second term.

Except, Kamala will never be Speaker.

For real though, if AOC was made speaker, it would both be a disaster and hilarious at the same time. I'm all for it. Maybe they will get her a 24/7 twitch stream from her speaker office!

Kamala is a senator so she can't be House speaker.

Again, there is no rule in the Constitution that someone who's not a Congress member from being Speaker. Or any restrictions. They (the majority in the House) can vote for whoever they want to. They could elect you, if they wanted to.
