Exactly right. If he hadn't made a big deal about it he would have voted straight Dem for sure with all of the other dead people. Now they're actually going to go strike his vote. Oh well!
I'm so sad to read this. I am holding up my retirement and have been since 2017 so I can vote in person on Nov. 3. After that, done, sell everything and expat to my third world shithole for a life of fly fishing, dog walking and dark rum. God Bless Trump.
There's plenty of quiet rural places to fly fish, walk your dog, and drink dark rum here...expat tax situation is no joke if you have money and are honest.
I've done my research on expating and given it years of thought (after also being fairly well traveled around the world)
Of course it's not hard to find places where the COL is much less than the USA major urban centers, both inside and outside the USA.
but to find COL substantially lower than the cheapest parts of the US, enough lower to make it worth the move, you have to make some tradeoffs re: quality of life/conveniences/language barriers etc, not to mention crime
So if you're coming from Los Angeles and you wouldn't be caught dead in coastal Mississippi or rural Indiana or some such, then someplace like, say, Ecuador can look appealing (just picking one). But that's only if you harbor this strong aversion to certain parts of the USA. As I suspect would be the case for some NPC types.
the USA is hard to beat when you look at it pragmatically without giving too much weight to a locale being "exotic," which will wear off after a couple years
Crime, corruption, and healthcare are reason enough to keep me in this country. Its easy to see yourself living abroad when you're younger, but the older I get the more I am reliant on things like access to healthcare. And one other reason I like living here is that if I have my 2A to protect me when the police can't.
Couple of developing countries I might be willing to "rough it" in if there was legal gun ownership
But that gets back to the thing. Unless you're moving somewhere else in the developed world (where you save nothing in cost of living, and may even pay more) you're always doing without something. Which can get old after a while.
I've been an expat in Central America and have lived like a poor person there and also like a baller. Lots of places are not cheaper when you factor in the tarriffs and VAT and high price of owning a car.
I have also done it in Eastern Europe and that definately had a lower cost of living and I was able to keep my nice creature comforts so it was a better deal. Plus EE is based.
All in all though after having done all that , I find the rural south of our great country is the best place to be.
Well, I have spent many years researching my personal situation. Here's the reality. If I could, I would live in the Florida Keys. Not an option as I have less than a $1m in retirement $$. Ok, what's next? Find a place on the beach where my $$ will allow me to live the lifestyle I desire in my budget. I have found it and I'm going. English speaking, fly fishing, beach walking paradise that costs half of the keys. Expat for life.
Sounds great - hope you find your paradise. There are still some gulf side keys in Florida that are harder to get in and out of that haven't seen the crazy COL increases that other areas have - maybe check those out? Where you headed to?
My best friend lives in Port St. Joe and it's ok. Loved Mexico Beach before Michael, but San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye Belize is half the COL of anywhere in Florida. This is from a native Floridian. I have no desire to live in a tin can in a park.
I'm with you man. As soon as my kids are off to college, I'm disappearing to an inaccessible cabin at the top of a mountain with amazon drone deliveries.
Interesting. I had this very question. I'm in Cali doing work for a 92 year old vet. He's in pretty bad shape, and is hoping to make it to Nov. 3. I want him to see Trump win. Dude's sharp as a tack. Body's just given up.

2A is a big one for me too

Sounds like you are describing Belize.
Bingo

Good for you. I did a few years overseas.. and loved it. Will get back next year. Enjoy the adventure and good value for your hard-earned money.

The Trump Curse exacted one last toll on this guy. He should have known better.
The media did this
Or more than likely, his vote got switched to Democrat after he died.
He was already voting democrat. So his vote will probably be counted.
Seinfeld gif: "Ah that's a shame"
Nice reference
His final wish was that his vote would be counted and that GEOTUS wouldn't fill RBGs seat lol.
Loooooooool
Good, fuck him
obviously his mind left before he voted.

Sigh 😂😂😂
Whitmer will find a way to tally it.
democrat ballot harvester after hearing of his passing!
He died in spite and bitterness like a true Democrat
Get out and vote and cancel this cadaver's vote twice.
So, he votes for a abortionist, a pedophile, and a criminal. What a waste. Hope he doesn't end up in hell.
oh his vote will still be counted, rest assured
Ew
Doesn’t sound like a fervent last wish on his part
She wasn’t too bad 60 years ago though
Young RBG
For the first time in history a dead man failed to vote for a democrat!... More at 11:00
Good. Dead people shouldn't have a say in what's happening in the world after they're gone.
FAKE NEWS
All dead people vote democrat.
What do you mean Michigan law?
But what about his dying wish? Isn't that what we should consider? Who cares about laws?
Well, I'm damned to hell for laughing out loud at this.
Should have just voted mail-in, and spent the extra time with his loved ones
Welp. He dedicated his final days to misguided hate instead of family, love, and peace, and in the end it all meant absolutely nothing.
slow clap
Just send a signed letter that he identifies as alive, apparently that is all that is necessary to contravene real science.
But now he will always vote democrap!!!
