The only challenging questions from conservatives are 1) debt and 2) why isnt the swamp drained yet. He's explained repeatedly what's going on with the spending and that we need a conservative congress to reel it in and he can't discuss the swamp problem in too much detail.
There are plenty of questions that can be asked of any President. I can think of many possibilities from both left and right, including genuinely confusing, controversial, or complex issues that could get clarity or prompt some new disclosure (honestly I think Trump would dodge anything controversial right now, wisely).
Watching too many softballs feels bidenesque and just gets canned responses. They could at least do some ‘Overton window shifting’ to the right for once, just to mix things up.
