We're not targeting leftists. We're targeting low information voters who don't like Trump because he sounds mean on TV. We're targeting suburban moms who watch 20m of CNN every week and think they're informed.

I wouldn't say weird, but it's a part of human nature that you can overcome. Many don't, obviously. It's part of why social engineering is so effective.
