I don't understand how one can reside in one place, up and leave for another, then up and leave for another after that. I think it's weird too unless this is someone living out of a car or just on some very loose terms with long distance friends OR work in a field that's got some real big money where you can just be out of work for long timespans and just live in a hotel for the time being...
Nah it's ok I've moved around places in less than a year, possibly due to similar situation that you're having, I read this like you were doing it in the matter of days from OR to SD to FL and was like "woah that's pretty hyper".
I'm glad something worked out and hope things work out well for you. FL can be a bit nutty too but hopefully you'll get involved with the right people there and get some good traction to better horizons.
Forgot to mention - just mail your ballot if you did get the damned thing. They'll likely toss it but in your reality it's just not going to happen where you can do a vote unless you want to go pay for travel and go to the polling station to fight. At least mailing it back you can say you did your actual best.
If you can actually find a means to go back to go vote for real without damaging your finances to get your feet up straight in your new place, do it! Otherwise I think you know how to place your priorities and mitigate with what you've got.
Hey Pede - I hope you can figure out your Oregon ballot, but one thing you might be able to do that is even more powerful - let's face it, the chances of Oregon for Trump are pretty low, although you can affect down ballot - see if you can get involved in Florida since it's more of a battleground state. If you could help convince even one Florida voter, that's worth even more than your Trump vote in Oregon.
As far as I can tell, there’s no reason you can’t post it from wherever you like - there’s nothing that says you can’t as far I could see? But if you want to confirm, the only way to know for sure is to ask them: https://sos.oregon.gov/Pages/contactus.aspx#electionsCU
