Crook County rules the state unfortunately. Trust me man, the majority of Illinois territory is red. I live far west from all the bullshit. MAGA Country out here.

Its precisely why I left to help keep Wisconsin red!

What’s up neighbor. I’m about 45 min from the border

9
Desertwhale 9 points ago +9 / -0

I lived only 10 mins from the border before I moved. Now I'm about 10 mins from the border up north lol.

PurplePunch36 [S] 7 points ago +7 / -0

I probably pass by you on the way to Lake Geneva lol

Pepega 4 points ago +4 / -0

that's been my plan but that that would add 20 minutes of driving to my 15 minute drive to work :'(

And i live right next to great trails in Illinois i use weekly... I'd have to find a new job up there to get to where i really want. But i have reasons i "can't"

with all the mask bullshit here it's really been pushing me to my limit on this one.

Hopped the border to WI back in March. I’m looking forward to my vote actually making a difference! Also, it’s so nice to see my new town covered in Trump signs.

Moved here in October of 2019 and just bought a house here. Neighbored by two Trump-loving patriots (and some Biden supporters). I'm doing my part to keep this beautiful state Red. Voting this fucker Evers out as soon as I can.

The just got enough signatures to recall him next year!

HillarySucks843 2 points ago +2 / -0

Cook County is a disaster in all respects.

10
JMaN 10 points ago +10 / -0

They just found a bunch of fake ids registered as to vote as democrats. Read that news earlier today here. I guarantee it's rigged all over the place.

Chicagoland rules that state

TheFountainhead 3 points ago +3 / -0

We are gerrymandered to hell. Illinois is very red with one corrupt pocket of blue. I have live at 3 addresses in the past 10 years, one in Chicago, and 2 different suburbs. Each 30 miles from each other. All have the same congressional district. Complete fuckery.

Everyone forgets that Illinois elects republican governors when turnout is high. Trump has a decent chance

2
booblitchutz 2 points ago +2 / -0

Only Chicago and some of the suburbs.

Bless you! That’s awesome. I haven’t lost faith in IL just yet.

We're gonna turn this shithole red!

Fuck that Fred Flintstone looking ass. Guy is a scumbag. I hope my state wakes up. It sucks because I really do love Illinois but it’s controlled by decades of mass democratic corruption

8
PinochetIsMyHero 8 points ago +8 / -0

Fred was a svelte gamine compared to Pritzkler.

god damn bout time

12
PurplePunch36 [S] 12 points ago +12 / -0

Seriously, it’s bullshit. Small business is fighting back. Lawsuits are being filed against the state every day as well

12
not2late 12 points ago +12 / -0

A vote for Biden is a vote for Pritzker! Pass it along.

12
Stevie875 12 points ago +12 / -0

I have never heard of them, but I’ll be a customer. I don’t care who they voted for, we need more people taking a stand like this.

7
PurplePunch36 [S] 7 points ago +7 / -0

I agree. It’s going to take pissed off people to put their foot down for them to listen. Look how quickly the script was flipped when certain places wanted to cancel Halloween/ Trick or Treating

8
thisisatestof2 8 points ago +8 / -0

Doesn't IL have mask mandates? How is this possible?

8
PurplePunch36 [S] 8 points ago +8 / -0

Mandates are regional. They just announced that one of the regions are ordering all dining establishments to close for indoor dining again. This has happened twice by my county. Making restaurants close two different times. Imagine that...this place is refusing to listen any longer.

10
thisisatestof2 10 points ago +10 / -0

My Commie state has seen a increase, but has yet to roll back any restrictions (yet). We still have the idiots online screaming "shut it down" like in March when they closed "non-essential" business. This time they "promise" it would only be for 2 weeks to "save Christmas/Thanksgiving"

Sure, just like last time when 2 weeks of closure turned into 2-3 months or if you are bar, still closed.

Where is this restaurant...they need my money.

7
ORD_to_SFO 7 points ago +7 / -0

I just looked it up... It's in Glendale Heights, just north of Glen Ellyn. Based on the pics, the place looks huge, and popular. I'd check it out

8
ProudWhiteMan 8 points ago +8 / -0

First thing restaurants had to do on the first lockdown was dump their inventory of "fresh food". They're not just losing money but potentially wasting it. Such bullshit to even float the idea of a second complete lockdown. These bureaucrats never add anything to the economy they make fortunes restricting it while never adding any real value into their communities as business owners because they know just how rigged the system is.

In certain states, civilians are going to have to start defending what's theirs with rifles.

Against clown world rules, the rifle is a one size fits all answer.

7
spaceforce_chaplain 7 points ago +8 / -1

I think I have an uncle who voted for this asshat. My apologies...

4
CousinEddie 4 points ago +4 / -0

I lived in Illinois for almost 35 years - nothing ever changes for the better. It is one of the most fucked up and corrupt states in the Union.

My entire family has left Illinois over the past decade and aside from 2 people in my social circle, all my friends have left as well.

There is no hope for changing IL. If it didn't change in my 35 years of living there it sure as shit won't change in your lifetime either. Everyone there should admit this to themselves and decide whether they will live with it or live somewhere else.

I promise you it will never improve in your life.

4
PurplePunch36 [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

Good for you man, I really want to leave but as bad as things are I’m doing well right now. I’m probably my going to stick around for another 10 years max and if shit hadn’t changed, I’m out. Always easier said than done and luckily I’m still young. But own a home and have a good job I love. It we will see how things go.

1
RenaissanceOfHope 1 point ago +2 / -1

Why are you going to stick around?

3
booblitchutz 3 points ago +3 / -0

Seafood.... In Illinois?

Try the steak, folks.

5
PurplePunch36 [S] 5 points ago +5 / -0

We have great fish here though! But I agree. Lots of amazing steak houses.

2
booblitchutz 2 points ago +2 / -0

Freshwater maybe. Definitely the place to go for steak though. Although I dunno I haven’t been to Chicago for decades so I don’t really know if that’s true anymore

3
ChicagoMAGA 3 points ago +3 / -0

Also, don't look in the Chicago subreddit if you don't want to sour your mood. The cucks there are seriously defending this, along with the proposed tax increases from Beetlejuice.

2
twentyonepepes 2 points ago +2 / -0

Chad grillmaster

2
ChicagoMAGA 2 points ago +2 / -0

Oh fuck, I looked up local news to read into this and you're right. The collar counties are all getting fucked. Cook County is likely next on the chopping board.

2
RenaissanceOfHope 2 points ago +3 / -1

Pritzker belongs in prison for deprivation of civil rights and abuse of power.

He is the worst governor Illinois has ever had.

2
daftpunk 2 points ago +2 / -0

I might have to go out of my way to do dinner here

1
TheFountainhead 1 point ago +1 / -0

After the announcement I have started telling restaurants I frequent that “if they stay open, I’ll be here to spend money.”

1
MAGA_4EVER 1 point ago +1 / -0

Fucking patriots!

They will probably get fined. Then they can go to court and prove that the fine won't hold up.

Then everyone can ignore the stupid
