This sadly is probably part of it. WSJ aren't a "breaking news" type site, they towards more deep dives and actual investigative journalism than others, they're on of the old school institutional organization. They're iffy at times, as their editorial board is slanted left, but if a story is legit, they'll cover it.

But this story is getting legs, and that means it's getting serious, I'd bet there are lawyers swarming like angry wasps in the background from the Biden camp. Expect everyone to be furiously covering their asses. Remember, there's more coming. This is gonna get spicy as all hell.
