Random Ladypede Thoughts: Know what I miss? The stars... when I was a kid my Dad and I would go out on the back porch before bedtime and stare up at the sky, we'd find the moon and talk about the millions of bright stars above us and how small it made us feel. Now I live in a big city and you wouldn't even know they're up there. I'm lucky if I can find a dozen. It's a huge loss. Can any of you see the stars?

I'm in the suburbs, so it's not bad here stargazing-wise. Not quite as bright as out in the countryside, but not bad. I know what you mean though, I used to look up for hours when i was a kid, now it's only once in a while. Need to do it more often, it's good for the soul.
