Politics always used to be as pragmatic as Matthew is here, but almost all of the left have lost their minds with no way back. Why wouldn't you assess the performance of a president based on their election promises & the accomplishments of their first 4 year term? What better way is there to do it?
Half the reason the unrelenting hysteria and hype is pushed by the left is that it allows people to be controlled using fear as a lever. No logical person would entertain a biden/kamala presidency, and I think the left know that which is why they are creating/inducing and going after the crazies.
I remember 20ish years ago, even Tom Hanks at an awards event said something like "I like the excitement of knowing that at any moment you could say something so stupid as to end your career."
A short few years later and he's right in there with the rest of them

My insurance agent and I had this exact conversation yesterday.....I don't hire a President on his personality, but on his platform and performance.
It is the MSM fake news that has devolved our elections into a beauty contest.
I can guarantee you many of the people I've encountered throughout my life were not hired into their jobs because of their personalities.

They have been grooming the past three generations to rely on emotion as their guide, as opposed to critical thinking, logic or reason.
People who are emotionally undisciplined are easy pickings for the mass manipulation machinery of the Marxist left.
