...and it was beautiful! He dedicated a whole period of his "Critical and Creative Thinking" class to exposing fake news, and even showed a clip of CNN lying about Trump! Not all heroes wear capes. MAGA!

The best will be if he gets a hearing with the ethics board or whatever.

“My opening statement is that the media repeated thousands of times that Orange Man failed to denounce white supremacy.”

Council member running NPC.exe says “yes, it’s true.”

Based prof plays the tape.

NPC.exe short circuits.

I see this a lot

"Trump may be helping blacks, but it's just pandering and he's really a racist"

4
Bernietookmylollipop 4 points ago +4 / -0

GEOTUS is a horrible racist. Helping black colleges, increasing job opportunities, putting blacks as Secretary of multiple departments, promoting Tuskegee Airman and active duty officers to flag rank.

It is almost like he believes all are equal and should treat all citizens based on their character, achievements, and their fit for roles.

One of the times they said "Trump hasn't denounced it enough", he had literally denounced it THE PREVIOUS DAY.

These people are so insane that they want Trump to basically have his daily wakeup tweet be "Good morning, America, except for all the white supremacists out there, who I completely denounce."

5
RedDuck 5 points ago +5 / -0

The rules are every time they see him they get to ask him if he denounces white supremacy and he must say yes immediately on command.

3
cluckingducks 3 points ago +3 / -0

I would love to see him give the reply of "Fuck off! I've answered this a thousand times, and I'm insulted by the implication that I'm a racist."

TD_Covfefe_Crusader 5 points ago +5 / -0

It is impossible to ever denounce it to the satisfaction of the Left, because they use this tactic specifically to associate the target with the thing that they repeatedly demand to be denounced on command. This links the target to the thing being denounced even when they denounce it, then they are soon asked to denounce it again, repeating the process. Eventually the target tires of denouncing on command, and either fails to do so or expresses reluctance and frustration, which is immediately claimed as support by the Left, who ignore all of the previous denunciations.

The Left has been using this tactic for decades.

I thought critical thinking was banned in colleges

12
Gmama2 12 points ago +12 / -0

They call parroting the party line "critical thinking" because they are full 1984.

11
Coat_Confiscator 11 points ago +11 / -0

It's only a partial ban. The rest of the time it's simply frowned upon.

11
Art-Vandelay41 11 points ago +11 / -0

My English professor actually loves to teach us critical thinking. Of course, to her, “critical thinking” means Leftism.

3
TD_Covfefe_Crusader 3 points ago +3 / -0

Mental gymnastics then. Critical thinking is using facts to come to a logical conclusion. Mental gymnastics is coming to a conclusion and then rationalizing it by ignoring or obfuscating the facts and inserting feelings.

4
TD_Covfefe_Crusader 4 points ago +4 / -0

It is banned, which is why people are worried about the professor being disciplined.

If my day could be filled with news like this for a year, that would be nice. Please tell your Prof., "thank you". He'll appreciate the feedback.

This should be required of every class at every campus for them to qualify for federal funding. Want to learn about communism? Cool. Watch what happens to you if you disagree with the party.

15
Current_Year_Acct 15 points ago +15 / -0

It used to exist. I learned about the horrors of communism in history classes, and not in a politically slanted way either. Learned about the enlightenment and what it meant to be a classical liberal. Critical thinking was a required class, where you studied logic.

Idk what happened since, but those classes definitely don’t exist where I went to school now.

6
Thingthing22 6 points ago +6 / -0

They do exist. They just twist it to support Marxist ideals.

I think my school has "do not discuss policy" in place in regards to current politics. I've had a few classes over the last couple years including this one. All my professors have shied away from discussing things that are current. A few have come close to discussing it because they are very liberal but have caught themselves and moved onto another topic.

I think its because my school is a private school and not a public university. We do have a diversity office or whatever its called, and the lady that runs it sits alone in her office most of the time. Probably bored out of her mind.

4
TD_Covfefe_Crusader 4 points ago +4 / -0

The problem though is that leftists don’t view their ideology as political. They believe that their policies and agenda are universally accepted norms. Only things they disagree with are partisan and political in their minds.

I recently sat through a meeting where every Democrat in attendance insisted that the “climate emergency” is not a political issue.

I remember my one based college professor fondly. I'd venture it's probably something like 1 in 30 who has a reasonable worldview.

Guilliani pictures from Borat did it for me..

Logic and critical thinking shouldn’t be considered political. Fake News is fake whether you agree with it or not.

4
GreatFunana 4 points ago +4 / -0

I went to UCI and majored in Criminology circa 2003-2005. I recall all my teacher were crazy liberals, and just in most cases out of their minds.

I had one professor who was a cop. He made it a point to point out how the other teacher's theories were just wack, and don't really play out in reality. He wasn't popular among the faculty, but damn the students loved him.

Glad there are a few teachers left willing to point BS.

3
HillarysFatAss 3 points ago +3 / -0

This is unexpectedly refreshing to hear.

3
Elcidcampeador 3 points ago +3 / -0

Wow! I an impressed! I am curious to know the school that is so fortunate to still have an educator who teaches the students how to think by using critical thinking approaches instead of WHAT to think. Dont print it though. The leftists rabid animals will go after the man.

NewVoatAccountName 3 points ago +3 / -0

"Critical and Creative Thinking" is usually a course associated with English majors or other Liberal Arts degrees. It might be designated as a required class in some business or STEM degrees, but it would most likely just be a possible elective.

As someone with a degree in English (specifically Technical Writing), I can say that the average curriculum in college English departments is stuffed to the brim with shit-tons of Cultural Marxist BS. I would do whatever you can to take as many courses this professor teaches as possible.

2
Gmama2 2 points ago +2 / -0

I have a friend who is an editor, she has a degree in English. She is in her late 30s, and said all her editing skills were developed after college. Her college curriculum didn't stress grammar, usage, syntax or any technical aspects of using the language properly.

1
NewVoatAccountName 1 point ago +1 / -0

It largely depends on the specialization of the degree ("Creative Writing" and "Black Transgender Quadruple-Amputee Literature Studies" don't really require much knowledge of the language's technical syntax, while "Technical Writing" [manuals, textbooks, legal documents, etc.] and "Editing" usually require a fuller grasp of the language's intricacies), the size of the college (to an extent), and the amount of Marxist BS that has been shoved into the curriculum over the years by teachers and/or unions (the more time spent brainwashing students into believing Identity Politics, the less time spent teaching them how to actually read/write/understand English).

I had entire classes where we learned nothing BUT grammar, usage, syntax, and the like, all the way from elementary school through college (with the college textbooks even being usable as guides when rewriting actual technical documentation, such as legal documents, pamphlets, and instruction manuals). It varies for everyone.

2
Danmax67 2 points ago +2 / -0

Nice to hear. My son is junior in high school and he's concerned about finding a college that has diversity of thought and doesn't engage in religious persecution. Someone should make a list of such school, assuming such schools exist.

The only way I am okay with any politics in schools is if the teacher plays the actual politician speaking.

Having news talking about politician is propaganda by default.

I had a couple of those while attending community college. Here's the kicker, they were all IT professor's. Honestly not sure if it's just a university thing, but I never really experienced the leftist ideology in college and I went to Nashville State.

1

1

Because it was a critical thinking and not a critical race theory class

1

haha Better than mine. One of my professors got all self righteous talking about how nobody is trying to take your guns away, and I just sat there holding my tongue, because I'm a licensed concealed carrier, and the school policy would literally expel me if I carried on campus, which is legal in my state. Almost like... They took my gun away.
