In ancient Rome, No Confession was considered legal or valid unless torture was involved.

Rome didn't become Great by fuckin' around having meetings...

A good person confesses because they wish to put aside their shortcomings and work to improve themselves.

Criminals only confess if they're forced or if they're getting a deal out of it. You'll never get anything out of these people by being nice.

Yeah, they also didn't achieve their Empire through "diversity".

Actually they did. Everyone they conquered could become Citizens of Rome after extreme vetting in the Roman Legions...the rest became slaves or Gladiatores....

But assimilation to a common culture isn't diversity, it's unification and growth. Which I think is sort of our common point.

torture doesnt work though, if you torture someone enough they will confess to anything whether they did it or not. torture is just evil.

You know what else is evil...sexually exploiting children...but I'm sure if we just ask her nicely she'll be desperate to clear her conscience...if she even has one.
