For real, this crybaby is making it hard to work. Is there anything I can do to make him fuck off to his safe corner, or do I have to wait out till Trump wins again and no one cares?

If your family has a good go-to doctor, go get a letter saying you can’t wear a mask due to some sort of breathing difficulty.

I actually do. I'm just wondering if they will take the excuse because I legitametly have asthma that I pay out the ass for inhalers for

With a doc’s note saying the asthma makes it too difficult to breathe (or that the mask triggers an attack or something), they will. I am aware of no mask ordinance that doesn’t have a medical exception.

If your boss is a raging mask proponent, maybe he’ll hold it against you, but I’d hope not. The widespread wearing if masks is supposed to help the most vulnerable, including those with conditions that prevent them from wearing one.

P.s. - they don’t really work in the real world where people don’t know proper PPE protocol and wear them longer than they should; they just become saturated with germs that are dislodged in clouds when the wearer coughs.

It's not even my boss. Just someone who complains to them and they feel that they have to say something to quiet the bitch up.

We do have the sign that say with exceptions. So I was wearing it around him, but he insists in complaining when I am working by myself at my desk, which he did today. So if he is gonna be petty so will I, and get myself an official exception.

I'm just wondering if it will actually work.

It will work you can even ask the doctor to mention that as someone with asthma the feeling of having your mouth covered triggers shallow breathing which can lead to an attack.

Which it does, or I wouldn't even be that pissy about it.

I knew you didn’t mean your boss was complaining, I was simply pointing out that if your boss was a big mask fan, it could cause problems.

With a doc note, and proper framing (we wear masks to protect those who cannot) you should be GTG.

Alright thanks. I'm not tryna get fired, but legite I care more about my job than to let it suffer because I can't perform.

Technically, requiring you to prove or even explain your medical excuse is a HIPAA violation.

Is it really?

Get to work before him, take the mouthpiece of his phone and rub your balls on it. Then go wait at your desk and call him when he comes in. Maybe skip a shower or two for added effect.

I have. The problem I see is the ADA says if you have trouble breathing with it on, you shouldn't be wearing it.

But that doesn't stop him from crying

Turn it around on him. Complain that you are being harassed at work, that your disability is not being accommodated. Throw the word OSHA around. If you have a verified disability, as you say, they should tell that ass to leave you alone.

I asked a manager about it. I already made a doc appointment about it.

From an HR standpoint it depends on the local laws. If the laws are in his favor there isn't much you can do.

Retaliation: -wear maga 2020 mask or Trump mask -keep water bottle/drink w straw next to you, put straw in your mouth when he walks past... technically you are eating or drinking

I would do what your company policy is, and not a inch more than that. After all, they pay you.

If he gets mad at you for not exceeding the policy, tell him to screw off.

I would cough around them as much as possible, masks work right?

Some places will let you wear the stupid plastic face shield instead, I personally would never wear a mask

same here, I mentioned I went out to eat (which is allowed) and was accused of not caring about the people I work with. "thats why i only use doordash and take 1 walk". Well Im sorry your life is boring and youre wasting your money. My life is virtually unchanged at this point, some people choose to be victims.
