Think about it. We all know civil forfeiture is pretty unjust overall. If police depts don't get the funding they deserve, and are underfunded, they'd be more motivated to pull people over, do unlawful searches, and take "free money" to fund the department. It's hard to win against civil forfeiture cases too. John Oliver even did a segment on it. And I feel like if we can even convince many of the left to jump over with this perspective.

Pretty much guarantee that the Ticket Quota is going to go up, too. Cops will try to find ways to fund themselves, if they're still around, and all the defunding the police movement is doing is demotivating and running off the good cops that we'd really like to keep, while justifying the worse behaviors that we would rather try to curb.

That's not a bad angle to go at with when talking to the liberals in your life. Good shower thought, Pede.
