My daughter goes to one of the top blue ribbon schools in the state and its basically a high school version of most college campuses.

They were discussing taxes in relation to salary and the teacher made a comment about how it sucks to pay taxes, yada yada yada.

My daughter says, "At least you're paying less under President Trump!"

The teacher argued and my daughter asked her to let her prove it. She said, "Check your pay stubs or taxes before Trump and after. If I'm wrong, I'll write a paper about mathematics in relation to taxes. But, if I'm right, you have to give everyone 10 bonus points on the midterm."

The teacher announced the bonus points today.

This woman isn't political at all, or at least doesn't show it. Daughter overheard her telling another teacher how much she saved in taxes the past few years.

You don't like or believe that I could raise red-blooded, all-American young lady with the knowledge and confidence to speak up then you are mistaken and should not upvote and move on. This is the MF-ing THEDONALD. We are High Energy and don't need your negativity.

My reply to one of the reddit-esk comments:

I get it. We've been inundated with BS stories since the modern was invented. But my family is strong. We talk God, politics, family and future. Never spoke to my kids like babies and set expectations for life at a young age. You want to go to college? There isn't a fund waiting for you, I work for a living and Mom's a teacher. You had better get amazing grades and full scholarships.

My son graduated high school with a 35ACT and was the parish student of the year. He is currently a college sophomore on a full ride. Pre-law dual major in Economics and Political Science. Wants to be AG one day.

Our daughter hates being in his shadow and is busting her tail to step out of it.
