No kidding. Lord knows I've voted for some terrible candidates, and I'm glad there are people who can humble themselves and admit their mistakes, but it is really hard for me to not feel resentment towards these people who post about how they voted for Obama.
The first vote I can understand based on pure ignorance.
The first vote was just another smooth talking Politician promising the world. I saw him for a liar mainly because I was already wise to the way the media was manipulating everything. The way the went from constantly trashing Bush to slobbing Obama's husband's knob may not have been as drastic as the shift from Obama to Trump, but it was still pretty obvious. Watching from that light I thought his lies were obvious to anyone. I didn't expect the campaign against Palin to be so brutal, or so effective, and I didn't expect McStain to practically throw the election either.
The second, well, how would Romney be any better? I knew Obama was corrupt to the nines but I couldn't vote for the used car salesman from Utah when the GOP was obviously just as corrupt as the DNC. Turns out he, and they, were far more traitorous cunts that even I thought. Huckabee was the obvious peoples choice, and I never believed for a minute that the primary happened fairly.
So I don't really find it hard to believe that good people voted for Obama without ever knowing the reality of what they were voting for, or even just knowing that the other options were shit.
But Hilary? Fuck no, I can't think of a valid excuse for that.
Welcome! We are the good guys in this story. Many of us have lost "friends," but it turns out, some of my closest friends who voted for Hillary or Jill Stein are now voting for Trump. I've had more and more friends call me and tell me they are "Trumpies," people you'd never believe - my millennial age acupuncturist & another millennial yoga instructor!
Luckily my father was a wise man, the one thing I took his word on was politics. This will be the fifth presidential election Iβve voted in, Iβve never voted for a democrat for anything. Welcome.
We've all done unfortunate things we'd prefer not to remember.
Mine includes voting for Obama/Biden and Mittens/Ryan.
Nice that you MAGA and KAG.
"08 Change I can believe in" then tuned completely out until Trump!

Oh there was change, lots and lots of change. America would no longer exist if it wasn't for Trump.

Together, we need to keep waking up America from this Marxist/Leninist Ideology that has been pumped into and throughout America's institutions!
