Could be someone, student or struggling young adult or whatever, that just needs a job or extra income and sends out rote texts all day without much enthusiasm. Honestly, I doubt those moronic texts do anything but elicit snarky responses or positive ones from people already retarded. I'd doubt any "undecided" voters get hooked by a robotext.

I saw a guy at a meeting stumping for bloomberg and you could tell he was just repeating talking points for a paycheck, dude seemed pained up there getting questioned and shit. People gotta work, I suppose. Remember Clerks? Some dudes are jizz moppers cleaning up the nudey booths.

Presuming, of course, the "volunteer" part is bullshit to promote enthusiasm or something

I think this is the most likely situation based on their response. Campaigning pays decently for people who have lost jobs from wu-flu and probably can be done at home.
