Just my 2 cents, but k8s 1.18+ has some great auto scaling and network load balancing... If you guys run the site on prem, OKD (origin distribution of k8s) is a great secure starting point (and you avoid paying amazon or azure for aks)
I think one of the tough parts managing the site is that the admins MuST keep the tech stack private to avoid giving any hackers a foot in the door..
But guys, plz get help... Or buy a bigger server, startup a crypto donation address, heck I think linode even let's you pay for nodes using crypto..
k8s is great but you can’t magically scale something like Postgres if that’s what’s persisting data. I’ve reached out to them before but it’s crickets.
