So it's no secret that this site was barely usable during the debate. Were we getting DDoS'ed? Or just too much traffic for even our Chad servers to handle like a Trump rally?

Either way, luckily Cloudflare isn't being fucking cucks and succumbing to the woke mob. But do we need to get a donate button going here? I am almost inclined to say we should place a few ads that aren't in your face to at least help out the mods with some cash for upkeep of this thing.

It absolutely was a DDoS attack. What does DDoS stand for? Distributed Denial of Service attack. This is normally accomplished by utilising a LOIC (Low Orbit Ion Cannon) attack (a lot of people using LOIC to fire packets at a website) or using a Botnet (slaved computers to fire packets at a website).

Instead tonight's issues were caused by too many people trying to access thedonald.win during the debates. It's an unintentional DDoS like when Sears went down 6 years ago on black Friday. Too many people trying to access a limited amount of bandwidth.

Tl;dr Too many Pedes tried to access the site at the same time and crashed it.
