It's clear that these mods either have investments privately or they're all pouring some cash in together, and that's good. It shows that they believe in this.
That said, I've gotten over being on the side of "don't monetize"; that flew the coop when we had our subreddit banned. I wouldn't mind seeing it.
That said, what happens after Trump's 5th term? He can't be president forever. Do the mods transition this forum into something bigger and more representative of a bastion for the new conservative party? They may need funding long term, whereas they wouldn't necessarily for the short 16 years to come

I think it becomes about conservative culture and the culture war and candidates that line up with those values at that point.
