Anyone else catch that during the debate? Joe said we're about to enter a "Dark Winter" which is a term that to my knowledge....no one has been using. Some quick searches reveals a military operation codenamed Dark Winter (early 2001-). The operation supposedly was a mock exercise meant to identify issues with national security and federal response to a widespread pandemic/bioweapon. Considering dementia Joe is quickly losing his mental faculties....it's interesting he had this phrase so readily available in his hippocampus or whatever. Freudian slip?

He tried to foment fear by claiming corona virus was going to kill an ungodly amount of people this winter.
Besides the fact that most people aren’t scared of the sniffles, the death toll is something they would welcome.

Radio host Clyde Lewis has been talking about Dark Winter on his Ground Zero show for a good while now. He brings it up a lot. Unsettling shit. He's been talking about it tonight, too, since it came up at the debates.
Concerning to me. I get it. I see the correlation.
I went to research the term dark winter. Biden would not have said that if it was not related to what we are going through right now with this pandemic. I can tell you right now in the world I am living and working in he just described it pretty accurately. My hospital is almost overrun with Covid patient's. Employees are all working extra shifts. Starting to call in sick. Other hospitals are refusing to take overflow from our facility because they are reaching capacity. Just because you have beds does not mean you have staff to cover all the patients. I don't know why we haven't declared an emergency because we are just about there. I believe the Democrats asked for this planned this then implemented this all to try and win an election. Prove to me the Democrats were not party to this virus. We all know they are in bed with China.
Not sure whether to upvote because China or downvote because Covid is largely overblown
Well I used to think it was overblown to but all my years of nursing are being put to the test right now. These patient's don't respond to treatments you would normally do for respiratory issues. It is inflammatory. But China did this and now they are posting big numbers for the 3rd quarter for their economy. They took us and the rest of the world to the cleaners.
I think they’re just desperate and hoping to fear monger.
