I was expecting a bad moderator last night. She did well. Trump nailed everything and Biden looked like a deer in headlights when implored by Trump to explain his shady deals.
I think she realized she was under the microscope. She acted very professional.
She had a bias of 2 compared to Chris Wallace cranked up to 11.
Last week Savannah Guthrie looked like a rabid, mentally-deranged psychopath, and this moderator didn't want to be remembered like that.
I timed their total talking time during the debate, and each candidate received almost exactly the same amount of time. She did very well.
To be honest, I think the interruption numbers themselves don't necessarily mean she was biased. Trump tends to often be long winded with his answers and often pivots from one thing to another as he thinks of it. Eventually she has to cut him off. Biden isn't as long winded and otherwise knows that the more he talks the more it hurts him so he wouldn't get cut off as much.
The real bias in the debate came from the questions themselves. Climate change? 500 sad illegal alien children? Race in America? Fucking please. Imagine if they actually had questions on gun rights or leftist indoctrination in universities.
Yeah but...he nailed those questions. They were all opportunities for people to see the real Trump, and not the media caricature.

Trump called her out many times before the debate on his tweets. After seeing the double tag team by Chris Wallace who was blasted for it, she probably wanted to protect a little bit of her own credibility. The left is hating her now.
I thought she was really good. She seemed to remain focused and keep her bias at bay. Trump shined like the sun last night. He was very presidential!

She for sure gave Biden team the questions beforehand. It worked well because she got to come off as "unbiased" and attempted to let Biden look good. Of course he was standing across from GEOTUS so it didn't work.

She wasn’t even good, Wallace shit the bed so hard it makes anyone look okay by comparison. She interrupted Trump way more often, asked him for specific answers, and followed up with him WAY more than Biden. She also saved Biden quite a few times.
This actually served to give Trump more speaking time I think. Whether or not it was intended to hurt him, I dont think their plan worked very well. Because...... YOU CAN'T STUMP THE TRUMP YOU FOOLISH GUAC BOWL MERCHANT!
We've been used to such bad moderating that she looked great in comparison. I liked that she let them reply to each other instead of forcing them to the next topic. She also mentioned Hunter and reminded that Biden's prison bill put tens of thousands of black men in jail. Kudos to her.
I cant believe I have to admit that she did a good job. My made a few little comments but she gave them both time to respond.
Do not be fooled by Welker. Yes, it was a more professional, polished performance, but the whole thing was still heavily slanted in Biden's favor. No fact-checking of his obvious, verifiable lies, barely any follow-ups with Biden while there were many with Trump, and loaded questions that were obviously meant to put Trump on the defensive. This is was still subversive MSM bullshit, just with softer edges. Do not give these corrupt, slimy propaganda merchants a pass.

She tried to nail Trump down on the vaccine with specifics, then let Joe talk in vague generalities about his plan when he ultimately just said “we will have a plan” after being asked what his plan is. There were a couple other similar exchanges where she just let Joe off the hook. She did a much better job than Wallace though.

She was still bad but at least didn't have malevolence toward the president openly. She did however probe more into Trump, not at all into any hard topics with Biden, and at one point intervened on Biden when he was talking too much about hunter.

She was a terrible moderator. About as bad as this pansy. She kept interrupting Trump. She kept interjecting liberal lies and propaganda with her set ups for questions, and she kept playing defense for Biden. She kept on trying to trip Trump up with follow up questions, but only "pressed" Biden once. But of course Biden had his legal pad with all of the questions and his pre-written answers right there. When she questioned Biden, it was clearly scripted. I'm not saying she ran through a rehearsal directly with Biden (although that wouldn't surprise anyone), his people most certainly did.
I'm disappointed that so many Trump supporters are praising her. She's a total anti-Trump bitch. She's been to several of his press briefings being an absolute bitch.
Trump beat Biden three times. First Debate, Trump beat the pansy in the photo above and he beat Biden. Second debate, Biden chickened out and got the corrupt Debate commission to change the already agreed upon rules to a virtual debate, which Trump smartly refused. So Trump wins because Biden basically forfeited. Trump still showed up for a debate and won handily against The Joker. And last night, Trump wrecked Biden, Welker, and their mute button.
