3 - Ronald Reagan when asked about his age responded with 'I won't hold my opposition youth and inexperience against him.'
2 - When Ben Shapiro was asked where was it written that girls can't be in the Boy Scouts, and Shapiro responded that 'it's in the name, BOY Scouts.'
1 - When Chris Wallace was momentarily occupied arguing with DJT, Biden proceeded to continue with his argument, got confused and skipped 2, Trump without missing a beat caught it and said, 'you're on 2 by the way!' and went right back to arguing with Chris.
Although a Great performance, I don't think 'Who built the cages Joe?' will be able to displace any of these moments.
Do we ever really know who "wins" a debate? Everybody always says their candidate won. We say Trump won and the left just keeps saying Biden won. Is there any unbiased sources that can determine who "won" the debate?
Nope, each side will say their candidate won no matter what.
After the first debate, I thought it was a bit of a wash. Trump could have done so much better, although I think a lot of blame goes to the moderator
After this debate I feel like he really came out strong, I think an indicator of this is how little the left seem to be talking about it. It's the same as the VP debate - the left did badly so all they talked about was the fly
Things like this can only really be scored through sentiment - which side seems more energised and which seems more demoralised?
I’ve commented a few times about Trump’s debate style. I coach law school moot court teams (debate teams) and I’ve always said Trump isn’t the best debater in the world, but he is the best negotiator. These are two separate skill sets and his negotiation ability is more important than formal debate ability. He’s not a politician, as he emphasized last night. But....last night, I was so proud of him. He really did an amazing job! We’ve all been commenting recently that he looks so much more fired up at his rallies because he knows what his internal polling looks like and he knows the trouble Biden is in. He got up there and spoke like a true winner. He was masterful. He was commanding. He was never rattled. He beat the hell out of Joe.
Top 3 moments in debate history.

Easy, our side deals in facts, theirs in feelings.

crickets
Ideally you have some unbiased people, who can tell who won.
