When I married my wife, she actually legally changed her first name to include her middle name (think of Carol-Anne or a name like that) and made her maiden name her middle name, so she could take my last name, and in her words "bring honor to her given family name"...that side of her family is kind of full of irresponsible people, to put it one way, and as an Ivy League grad, she is on an entirely different level.
