Good morning patriots
Hope everyone slept well after the president soundly beat up China Joe.
Server issues here have been discussed at length but we'd love to test them. If everyone would just invite their friends here we should be able to get an accurate test. 20 million users should be acceptable.
We've had some great threads and comments about what happened last night. Now that you've had time to digest it we'd like to give you the opportunity to seriously discuss any questions, issues, or anything that happened.
Top level comments should be only something that happened during the debate. Links to highlights, fact checks, questions, etc.
For those who missed it.
Are we just going to ignore that Joe Biden stated last night that "Prior to his invasion of Europe, the US had a good relationship with Hitler"?
How much of Hunter's crack is Biden smoking to say such nonsense?
Really great point.
Are we going to ignore the fact that he threw Obama under the bus?
["Joe, why didn't you get it done before?"]
"Hey man, I wasn't President."
OBAMA BTFO
Trump's best line was after that too, when he pushed on why they still didn't get anything done, and Biden said "...Re...Republican congress"
And Trump nuked him with "You have to convince them, Joe"
Fucking tactical nuke right there
The democratic party had a good relationship with Hitler, at least
Maybe the eugenicists, socialists and communists like the New York times liked him, but I don't want my ancestors lumped into "we".
“Now now let’s not legitimize North Korea. Also, he’s going to take over the world! Literally Hitler!”
I can’t imagine a more legitimizing comparison of a wanna be evil dictator, than breathing their name in the same sentence as Hitler.
Taking North Korea seriously as a country and trying to engage with Kim Jong Un as if he’s, you know, actually in charge of the place and can make independent decisions is akin giving food and speaking nicely to the pitbull your crazy neighbor has in their back yard.
NK is a vassal state of China, that basically does whatever China says. In return, China uses them like a shield against the rest of the world. Peeling NK support away from China, by convincing them they can stand on their own, is a massive blow to the CCP.
The truth is, we did have a "good" relationship with Hitler. If by good, you mean we talked friendly with him. We weren't best buds, and we really pissed him off at the Olympics.
Historically this is a correct statement. We can't make it untrue because Hitler was a monster. We should learn from our mistakes, not try to whitewash them.
Kim Jong Un and the US had a happy few months, too. We should learn from that as well.
