Good morning patriots

Hope everyone slept well after the president soundly beat up China Joe.

Server issues here have been discussed at length but we'd love to test them. If everyone would just invite their friends here we should be able to get an accurate test. 20 million users should be acceptable.

We've had some great threads and comments about what happened last night. Now that you've had time to digest it we'd like to give you the opportunity to seriously discuss any questions, issues, or anything that happened.

Top level comments should be only something that happened during the debate. Links to highlights, fact checks, questions, etc.

I don't see people talking about Joe Biden saying he's gonna kill the oil industry by 2023. Even the moderator did a double take.

165
WishdoctorsSong 165 points ago +166 / -1 (edited)

Heard that too in her voice, she was like "I gotta give him a chance to roll that one back." And Joe went with it. That's a campaign commercial running in PA for the next week if ever there was one.

The VAST majority of people not involved in the industry have NO CLUE whatsoever "oil" is used for. They just think it's something Texans put in their SUV's to be mean to the environment. When you try and tell them what they won't have anymore, they get real snobby and start talking about hemp products. The Average person is just really uneducated when it comes to oil and how much we depend on it in our daily lives.

20
Johnson 20 points ago +22 / -2

haahaha hemp products. Bro, this costs 3x what the alternative material and works 50% as well. We're only not using it because THEY banned something that grows in the ground!

13
K-Harbour 13 points ago +13 / -0

And banning emissions from fracking?

They don’t even know what they are talking about.

8
Noxapalooza 8 points ago +8 / -0

Hemp products are actually a really good thing, you'll start seeing more and more of it. GEOTUS did the us a big favor by letting that be a thing. You can get 3X as much hemp paper from the same amount of materials as you can from pulpwood paper for example.

5
FireannDireach 5 points ago +6 / -1

Hemp is a fantastic crop, we should be growing it instead of soybeans and corn.

1
AmericanPatriot6f0 1 point ago +2 / -1

Hemp is not a food.

2
FireannDireach 2 points ago +2 / -0

Irrelevant. Much of the corn we grow is not used for for food. I believe it's somewhere around 30% that's used for ethanol, ie. gas additives. The next biggest consumers are alcohol (distilled) and food.

Soy is a trash crop, period.

3
TheMutualist 3 points ago +3 / -0

I have no qualms with hemp and even recreational Marijuana for adults. Not my thing - but neither is drinking and I would never want it banned.

But I'm constantly amused that people who claim they're environmentalists think hemp can replace almost everything. Marijuana is an invasive species in many ecosystems. It's damaging to the existing wildlife. Cutting down trees and planting the same species is a far better conservation method

7

You hit it on the head. I was genuinely surprised given how she has been to Kayleigh and Sarah.

7
TyrantsAreCucks 7 points ago +7 / -0

Definitely. She was much better by contrast, but there were key moments that Trump's point got muffled and trampled over by her voice. I heard a couple subtle mic cuts too.

1
ClownTamer 1 point ago +1 / -0

In her defense, you kind of have to talk over Trump or he’s going to steam roll you. There’s nothing to push back on when it comes to Biden. It’s all non answers, and the man’s barely alive at this point.

2
Noxapalooza 2 points ago +2 / -0

No, but she did ask him actual questions though.

31
LatitudeofMind 31 points ago +31 / -0

The debate was more about Joe not losing and not so much stumping Trump. She set the debate up at the Meta level to benefit Biden. Same topics as last debate and some of daddy’s weakest: climate change, race, covid. She also pulled the race topic away from police because Trumps pro police stance resonates. Never in these debates did we get to really engage immigration and foreign policy which would be trumps strongest topics. Peace in ME, Korea, getting nato to pay etc

12
K-Harbour 12 points ago +12 / -0

Bottom line....the end of the road for the debate commission.

Disagree. She did about a dozen "follow up" questions to Trump, and two that I counted towards Joe. On top of that, she interrupted Trump half a dozen times while he was speaking on HIS time.

She was a lot more subversive, albeit less intrusive than Chris was.

And those trucks need the trains to deliver the goods to them, from the ports.

And those goods arrive to the ports on diesel fueled cargo ships, or jet fuel powered planes.

And those goods are made in factories that need oils to run, lubricate, cool, and as a base ingredient for the plastics in those products. And for the paint on them.

Yeah, we don't need any of that. At all. Simple, really. We just go back to the pre-industrial revolution era, technology wise. Biden can travel around the country on the back of a steam powered locomotive.

She did ok....but God damn...how long a rebuttal does Biden get after Trump's 10 second rebuttal?

She only seems to have done ok compared to the shit show that was the first debate and that awful townhall. She was still biased and tried to shield Biden.

35
45forever 35 points ago +35 / -0

She never said “10 seconds” to Joe. Not once. No boundaries or time limits on replies. Very noticeable and very strange. Would a 10 second warning, throw Joe’s brain into mush?

11
g00se2k 11 points ago +12 / -1

I heard her say "10 seconds then we need to move on" at least a couple of times to Joe.

The most noticeable bias was the fact that they never once muted Joe's microphone. You could hear him snort and chuckle when GEOTUS was talking. But the end of several sentences from GEOTUS got cut off from the mic being muted.

5
VinnyMAGA 5 points ago +5 / -0

I can't wait to see the stats on here ie time each person had the mic etc. Biden had at least double when it came to rebuttals.

43

23
hiddenconservative 23 points ago +25 / -2

Not at all.

I also think she was respectful and fair to an extent. I didn't like that Biden automatically got his "rebuttal" time multiple times and Trump had to specifically ask for time.

But other than that...she held Joe accountable and actually threw hardballs to him.

20
THE_GEOTUS 20 points ago +20 / -0

More fair than the first, but she interrupted Trump A LOT, which drove us nuts at my house.

19
45forever 19 points ago +19 / -0

Yes, Trump got all boundaries of “10 seconds” reply, BIDEN none. It was infuriating. She would then only give Trump 6-7 seconds before interrupting. It was blatant and I realize she and the powers to be HAD to refrain from telling Joe a time limit because his brain would freeze or overload. He was handed his reply’s on a sliver platter with a scotch and cigar.

I liked the debate better than the first, but she did everything she could to make life easier for slow Joe.

The purpose in the first debate was to smack down Biden and see what his mental capacity/drugged ability/stamina was. This debate wasn't to spar with Biden but to get his message out to the voters; that's why President Trump didn't need to speak aggressively or really argue with Biden, but just point out the accomplishments of his administration vs 47 of corruption and "kitchen table talk" from Joe.

While I prefer the scorched-earth, railroad everything in site version of trump like the first debate, I know I’m in the minority. Normies have been taught that “muh decorum” is good so the more measured approach will help soothe a lot of people as you said. (even though that’s what politicians have been doing for years- talking smooth while sneakily fucking us)

5
KAGMAGIC2020 5 points ago +6 / -1

When I watch court cases (in real life) the calm but assertive lawyers were the best. They were respected more and people took them more seriously. I LOVE TRUMP though. But decorum is a thing. Trump is 100% right on every issue, but his NYC businessman toughness and brashness will rub some normies the wrong way and thats totally valid.

Absolutely horrible rhetoric that needs to go the way of the dinosaur, just like Joe does.

Yes! Everyone should feel like they have to teach their kids this, I don’t care who you are or what you look like. It should be universal. Don’t start shit with cops! It’s that simple. If you get pulled over, say “yes, sir.” “No, sir.” If they tell you to show your hands, show your hands!

5
Ithrowawaay 5 points ago +5 / -0 (edited)

I do this strictly to put the cop at ease, and let them know I’m thinking equally about their safety as I am mine.

Starts with how you pull over and where, and goes from there.

I'm a white female who also grew up in a nice area and my dad gave me that same talk too when I first started to drive. It's a lesson that all new drivers should be taught. It has nothing to do with race.

7
kirovri 7 points ago +7 / -0 (edited)

Exactly, this caught my attention as well, even as a (white) European I know how I should act in a traffic stop in the USA, and I would teach my (white) children the same.

It's very simple to make a traffic stop a safe encounter for the officer and thus for yourself, everyone should do it regardless of skin color.

Or is Racist Joe saying that only black people are a danger to cops, that only black people are criminals with guns and illegal possessions/arrest warrants?

3

6
testaccount9597 6 points ago +6 / -0

I was pretty flabbergasted when he was describing 'the talk'. I thought it was going to be some spiel about how society is racist towards black people or fake statistics on how cops are somehow more dangerous than the other 'youths' in their 'community'.

Keep your hands on the wheel, no sudden movements, be polite and respectful, and don't reach for shit? You mean the talk that all responsible fucking parents have with their kids when discussing the police and getting pulled over?

The talk usually also includes tips like pull over in a safe area so neither you or the officer get hit by another vehicle, don't joke around, keep your mouth shut in general, keep your car interior clean, roll your window down all the way, and turn your vehicle off.

1
TiltedOutOfBall3 1 point ago +1 / -0

The Biden campaign was clearly given the questions ahead of time. You can tell this specifically with this question by the moderator: “ President Trump, people of color are much more likely to live near oil refineries and chemical plants. In Texas, there are families who worry the plants near them are making them sick. Your administration has rolled back regulations on these kinds of facilities. Why should these families give you another four years in office?” This was such an off the beaten path question compared to the other questions. Trump’s answer was pretty generalized about how people who work near the refineries are making a good living due to his policies. He also never heard about the stats about the sick minorities (I guess white people are immune) that the moderator gave. Meanwhile Biden’s response: “ My response is that those people live on what they call fence lines. He doesn’t understand this. They live near chemical plants that in fact, pollute, chemical plants and oil plants and refineries that pollute.” Do you really think Biden knew the term “fence lines”? This question and answer was planned to make Biden look like he new fancy terms and that Trump didn’t. Biden then continued with his usual common man story about when he was a kid: “ I used to live near that when I was growing up in Claymont, Delaware and there are more oil refineries in Marcus Hook and the Delaware River than there is any place, including in Houston at the time. When my mom get in the car and when there are first frost to drive me to school, turning the windshield wiper, there’d been oil slick in the window. That’s why so many people in my state were dying and getting cancer” This answer was rehearsed.

7
Siteless_Vagrant 7 points ago +7 / -0

Obama's energy policy is a nightmare for the American taxpayer. All it was ever meant to do was make him and his friends money. OUR money. I've been trying to find out the cost of all those windmills in the plains region, and when they're going to start paying for themselves, haven't had much luck.

My insurance went from $0 monthly, with high deductibles and premiums, employer provided, to no insurance at all. I've never found affordable insurance and have stopped looking. That was 10 years ago.

7
muslimporn 7 points ago +7 / -0

It's endless. Biden also talking about how states hate it hard and hard to fire firefighters, etc when he also wants to defund the police and emergency services.

What I see here is places have screwed up their budget and you're saying just throw more money at them? I'd send in the feds shock and awe tossing civil servants into interrogation and collecting documents like bailing sandbags to stop a flood to find out who's embezzling.

Also going on about the bail out bills. The thing is Democrats keep bolting on everything else they want onto it rather than sticking to the actual point.

Here's a gem from the transcript:
Biden: "And I don't look at this in terms of what he does, blue states and red states. They’re all the United States"

Nice line, probably rehearsed but a nice thing to say. But TWO SENTENCES LATER...

"And look at the states that are having such a spike in the coronavirus. They’re the red states."

Kek.

A small nitpick, but an annoying one: Biden's insane response when Trump brought up the energy budget and comparative energy return of windmills. Biden's statement of "find a scientist who says that" is so mind-numbingly stupid that it perfectly distilled the left's current fetish of "science." I wouldn't go to "a scientist" to perform that analysis; I'd go to an engineer to calculate production energy costs, system lifecycle and energy costs, and lifetime energy return.

This whole angle of trying to drape himself with the word "science" or "scientist" has got to be the most retarded instantiation of an Appeal to Authority fallacy in world history and is just dumb and retarded.

Somebody needs to ask Joe the Pedo to define "science" and "scientist." I'll bet you the answer would be epic and utterly stupid.

45
lifeisahologram 45 points ago +45 / -0

Yeah the lefts love for science is so annoying because it’s so shallow and fake. They are in love with the authority of using the word science with something brings and THATS IT. This.

I'm just a lowly math and ML guy, but did have an undergrad minor in a hard science. This weird phenomenon of the left sticking the word "science" on everything is fake and gay. And the politicization of science is deeply troubling, since we have two great examples of political movements doing that during the 20th century, with atrocious results.

Not to mention how Biden laughed when Trump said wind turbines kill birds.

They fucking do.

It was estimated in a study (someone fact check it) that the wind turbines that exist in the USA alone presently are responsible for the death of around 250,000 birds annually. The US ALONE. That isn't world wide.

Now granted, that's not a significant cause of problems for birds (far more are killed by roaming cats left outside by owners) but the issue is, it COULD become a significant problem if we switch a majority of our power to wind.

In 2019 wind power made up 7.3% of the power in the US. So now let's say we boost that % to 35%. Suddenly the "250,000 annual bird deaths" is now over a million.

The song bird population is already in serious decline. Birds are important for the ecosystem. So it's not so easy as the dems believe to "just use wind power" and be economically friendly!"

Joe is a moron.

15

From production to recycling wind turbines are a stupid option for energy. Let the private sector innovate freely like we have been. Already you see hundreds of companies pushing money into energy storage technology and better ways to capture solar. There are tons of books about the scam of gov funded "green energy" The money ends up funneled to few, and inevitably wasted.

I can't remember it now, but there is a book with a chapter covering the scandal that was Obama's green energy failure.

2

Yeah I worry about their effect on migratory patterns for birds and insects. These wind mills happen to be situated in giant wind corridors that flying animals have been traveling for thousands of years.

Honestly, if you want to do lines of Columbian marching powder off of a hooker's ass, that's your business, not the government's; so I'm all for legalizing everything.

That said, I'd consider anyone who abuses any substance to be a person desperately in need of help. I'd also put into law severe penalties for anyone who harms anyone else as a result of using drugs or alcohol.

You have the right to do as you wish with your own body, but the second that you harm anyone else, you need to be punished.

My fear:

They have all the evidence needed to convict Biden. But its too close to the election and the investigation won't happen until after the votes are cast. MSM and Social Media with silence any facts about Biden's corruption, claim "disinformation", and casual voters won't know what to believe.

If Biden cheats his way to a win, and GEOTUS doesn't have enough evidence to prove it...then this is the most likely result.

  1. Biden inaugurated
  2. Biden impeached
  3. Biden removed
  4. President Kamala Harris

...and she's worse than he is.

I plan on writing a letter to the President, whether or not it gets to him, I won’t know, but, I’m going to talk about COVID from the point of view of someone who is in Public Education. That opening salvo in the debate last night enraged me.

I cannot tell you the number of times the students ask me “Why do we have to wear masks?” You hear it in their voices, they just don’t understand why they are being prevented from being kids. It breaks my heart every single time because I want to say “Because your parents listen to the corrupt, dishonest media, they trust subversive government officials far, far too much, and they don’t scream bloody murder and start to riot if their rights are impeded and your parents are declared “essential” and “nonessential” thereby creating a bourgeoisie and a plebeian class.” “Our governor, our lazy state superintendent, and our local public health officials are total smooth brain morons that don’t understand how “Science”TM is being both weaponized and politicized in a way that undermines the objective norms of the scientific method for the last few centuries.” However, I doubt the students could understand that kind of nuance. It enraged me that Joe Biden tried to speak on my behalf because that son of a bitch doesn’t speak for me.

I walk into work every single day hating it because we are acting like COVID is a death sentence, when, even according to the corrupt bastards at the CDC, it is not, especially for anybody under 70! The masking, the hand sanitizer constantly, the anti-social and distrusting behaviors we are implementing upon our youths and our adults is insanity. The actual medical white papers that used the true objective methodology of the Scientific Method for a hundred years result conclusively in that masks do not work and can lead to higher levels of bacterial or viral illness while wearing a mask. Fauci was even a part of a paper that expressed that conclusion and the CDC proved it with THEIR OWN STUDY. The activist American medical community is creating a sense of perpetual distrust worse than Fauci ever did with A.I.D.S. When President Trump belittles Fauci, I clap every single time because how short of memory do Americans have and how much that Keebler elf screwed up A.I.D.S. with pointing out the real symptoms and transmission of that disease.

I walk in to work every single day and there is a general distrust of everybody in regards to the possibility of being an asymptomatic carrier of COVID. The general distrust I see and the hot gossip that goes on amongst teachers is sickening to me. COVID has taken “See something, say something,” to a whole new extreme. Teachers are afraid to cough in front of each other, sneeze, or even breathe because of “the ‘Rona.” There is a general exhaustion and malaise that is tearing the will of teachers apart because they have to enforce Draconian rules that our moronic leaders have implemented to seem like they believe “Science” TM. I hear constantly about “I know so-and-so’s aunt’s brother’s nephew has been quarantined with the Plague and now I’m afraid I’m going to get it because I was around them peripherally.” And under my stupid mask my jaw is agape because I’m like “You, an intelligent individual, are worried about third hand transmission of something that is a 99.7 survival rate for your age group? GTFOH.”

My short break is coming to a close, but I just wanted to post my thoughts about what I see in the field of Public Education and how that son of a bitch Joe Biden doesn’t speak for me and how I hope President Trump can use my anecdotal story in some shape, form, or fashion. Stay safe today frens.

The science says it isn't airborne and that people need to wash their hands. The actual science.

By washing your hands I mean on every ingress. At the gym you should sanitize equipment before and after use. Fresh food should be washed with soap. Dilute dawn works great.

I do not work in public education but I do relate to the unease and distrust you speak of after Alabama mandated masks in mid July. I told my boyfriend that it feels like everyone is walking around half-cocked just waiting for something, anything to set them off. You can feel the tension in the air.

The sneering, name calling, and hatred I would get not wearing a mask and protesting against it is despicable. I wondered if this is what wartime feels like, it's hellish. Even my family was breaking apart because one person in my household is conservative normally but is all for the state regarding the COVID-19 Scare. (This is what I call it in my essays in school). We had many stressful arguments over it.

A few nights after the mandate went into effect me and my boyfriend were driving home after trying to get water for my family (our well has problems) and a guard at Wal-Mart stopped us and physically blocked us from entering. On the way home we talked about how wrong this was and how people didn't used to be like this and seeing all the businesses shuttering and putting up mask entry signs made me break down.

I was weeping for my beautiful Country seemingly dying right in front of my eyes. So many people died for freedom we just... threw away at a whim.

I vowed to resist the mask mandate as much as possible and with the help of God I've been successful. I'm normally a quiet and meek person but God put a fire in me.

I called the police departments to ask how they would enforce it (it depends on the department apparently. They all gave me different answers but overall it doesn't have teeth). I protested for several days in the heat sometimes alone. A man told me to die and a woman called me racist. Many cars had people scoffing, sneering, shaking their heads, and arguing amongst themselves.

I hope they remember me once they realize how wrong they were.

I'm so happy that it's not nearly as bad now since even the women who saw COVID-19 as a fashion trend are getting sick of it. Thank God Almighty. There may be peace yet.

TuckerCarlsonsTie 2 points ago +2 / -0

Don’t forget, ever, Kay Ivey is the number one most friendliest Governor to the Chinese. I would be willing to bet she’s getting some kind of financial incentive to play the game. Tate Reeves of Mississippi may be in that same realm.

I come from a place where masks are “mandatory.” I laugh and stare people dead in their eyes when I don’t have a mask on. I dare them to say something. Walk with confidence and energy, nobody will say anything to you. I also wear hats that say “Join, or Die”, “Liberty or Death”, or “No Step on Snek” because I make it known their opinions mean nothing to me. Let the insults of sheep roll off your back and just say “God Bless You” or “Baaaahhhhh” in return.

Mask mandates don’t have teeth whatsoever because that opens up the issue of liability for medical deaths due to masks. The CDC study of 85% of mask wearers got COVID is the only thing any person needs to know to get a bulldog ambulance chaser to sue the state for millions of dollars because THEY caused their family member’s death as a result of unconstitutional assumption of emergency powers beyond their role as chief executive of the state. If the state legislatures passed the order, there would be a stronger legal basis to support the mandates, but there’s a simple reason no state legislature has not done so: it’s illegal and opens the state up to massive legal liability and class action suits.

I am terribly sorry you’ve been mistreated for not wearing a mask. I would smile at you, say “Hello”, and go about my way because you’re an American and you decide what’s best for you :-).

The part where Biden said we shouldn't try to work with other nations that are our enemies... That scared the shit out of me.

Sure, kim jung un is a dictator who treats his citizens like shit... But look at all the progress has made by taking him seriously and actually meeting and speaking with him like a world leader

All the peace in the middle east

No wars...

All because Trump chose to come to the negotiation table instead of take a hard "my way or the highway" stance.

We still get a lot from his meetings - especially economically. But we also make sure we don't go to war with anyone.

Joe doesn't get that. He'd rather swing his dick around.

11
bangbus 11 points ago +11 / -0

Average actual real human beings who are American, regardless of political stripes, want peace. The government and media have done a song and dance for decades and given us a revolving enemies list.

What amazes me is liberals will sit there and shit on America and say how awful it is, but then are totally blind to think “hey, maybe part of the reason North Korean leadership hates the US is because of something we’ve contributed to so maybe we should entertain them with at least a discussion.” Nope. Now if some college prof gets stopped by the police the Dems will arrange a beer summit, but not a chance in hell of talking to nuclear capable countries. They want to keep the enemies list. It serves their purpose. They always need something to fix. It’s disgusting.

11
TearofLys 11 points ago +11 / -0

Joe subscribes to the Bush/Obama "bomb them into submission" policy. The last three wars - Iraq, Syria, Libya - were based on the flimsiest of reasons or outright lies. Here in America, we go on living our fat happy lives, largely unaware that those neocon actions have resulted in the death of millions and the destruction of countries that otherwise had the potential to be prosperous and peaceful.

The Democrats for decades called the GOP the party that never negotiates with enemies.

And then they suddenly switch. They are the party that tries to "look tough" (?) by not showing up to play against the schoolyard bully.

Same. Turns out all of that screeching about how Bush was a warmongerer in the 00's wasn't genuine, and it was simply temper tantrums of them losing. This has been one of the biggest red pills for people. A large percentage of Trump supporters didn't support the Iraq war (but always our soldiers, of course) and likely would have voted blue in 04/08. I mean it's no secret many people here voted Obama; he just turned out to be more of the same.

Biden's plan for the private sector:

  • Enforce social distancing
  • Plexiglass barriers everywhere, businesses must invest in these themselves
  • Higher minimum wage
  • Not powered by oil, gas, or nuclear
  • Mandated federal lockdowns whenever
  • Significantly higher corporate tax rate

If you run a business and plan on voting for Biden, do everyone a favor and just close up shop. The private sector is better off without you.

Biden lost.

I don’t know how, after watching that, anyone could say different. Obviously we are unashamedly for the GEOTUS here, but even objectively he got destroyed. Trump took every “gotcha” Biden had and bashed him over the head with it. He got enough zingers in there like “who built the cages?” or “you got money from somewhere...” that Biden could just say “c’mon man” or “that’s not true” and put up such a weak defense. He looked like a senile old man up there.

And the President was like a cobra, restrained until the second he attacked, then backed up and readied for the next attack. It was great to watch, much MUCH better than the first debate.

Chickenwing -16 points ago +3 / -19

I’m Trump all the way, and have been since the Trump wants to punish women for abortions hoax.

I thought Biden did better. And that’s with me knowing he lied through his teeth for most of the night. Try to look at it from a third party who can’t decide. Biden’s emotional pleas are likely to work, he timed them well.

I hope I’m wrong. And for the record I stopped watching at around 8:08 local.

I had hoped Trump would push the Hunter angle more. Maybe tell people to look up the laptop so they can inform them selves.

12
ObamasLooseButthole 12 points ago +12 / -0

His little “emotional pleas” were shot down immediately by Trump. Wtf are you talking about?

11
maganova 11 points ago +11 / -0

Not sure what time 8:08 local is for you but Trump was best in the last 30 minutes.

I think Joe’s empty emotional pleas may work for the low-info voters who weren’t really paying attention last night. But, these people were gonna vote for Joe anyway.

Trump destroyed his tactics though when he called out his “empty seats at the dinner table” nonsense for what it was... a typical empty platitude that politicians use. That is what the “third party” person saw last night

You know what I love? Muting the mic absolutely backfired on the Dems. It kept Trump more focused and on topic since Biden couldn't interrupt and derail Trump by getting Trump pissed and riled up whenever Biden lies.

I have noticed that one thing that will absolutely set Trump off like a firecracker is when someone lies and rightfully so. However the muted mic also stopped Trump from "saving" Biden like he did last time.

Moderator secretly making Trump look more competent by making Trump give very concrete answers, for example, 3 big companies working on the vaccine, plans to use army logistics to distribute vaccine and vaccine has a timeline of several weeks. Biden gets a softball question and only gives a vague answer of "shutdown the virus." What does that even mean?

I also may have misheard this portion but at one point did Biden say that Abraham Lincoln was racist?

29
texascpa 29 points ago +29 / -0

You heard that correctly. He referred to Trump as Abraham Lincoln. He also invoked Hitler. Biden may have thought he was in a Bill and Ted remake, not sure.

11

Every fiber in my being would have loved for Trump to fire back and ask Biden to clarify why Abraham Lincoln was a racist. 😆

It's also very possible that Trump took the feedback from his conversation on Rush Limbaugh's show and used it to improve himself, because Rush also did point out that Trump made a mistake in the first debate by interrupting Biden and in essence it indirectly saved Biden from making more gaffes and rambling on. I really enjoyed that segment, it was nice to have someone having a constructive back and forth dialogue with the President. I hope he continues to make appearances on Rush's show.

The vaccine thing may have made him look competent.

But it didn't play well to some in his base.

Protestants in flyover country... it might take a special education campaign from the Graham family just to convince them that the rushed vaccine isn't the mark of the beast.

Republicans in Oregon damn near started the (conventional) second civil war by ultimately invoking cloture rules. And this was before the newest round of endless riots in Portland. You know what ultimately got the Oregon GOP back the first time they walked out? Concessions on vaccines.

I like Trump. He's what America needs right now.

But if Jo Jorgenson had come out and just carpetbombed America with ads declaring mask mandates and lockdowns the highest form of tyranny...

This election is going to be close. Mostly due to fraud, but it'll be close. And it'll almost certainly get decided by the Supreme Court.

I thought the moderator did a great job. But this question could have been the Trojan horse.

Trump's already going to struggle with older voters. Again, mostly because of fraud. Omar's Somalis bundling ballots, etc. But, seriously, the ones who don't live in New York and Michigan are scared shitless of this virus... and they're scared because of the team Trump continues to employ.

Personally, I think he should have punted on the vaccines and hit more on China and Biden's abominable record on crime. Of course, Biden's record on crime would play well with the GOP in places like AZ.

"Do you really trust a guy with such a shady record when it comes to China- the source of this virus- to open us back up again? How are we going to open up safely when Joe over here flip-flopped and now hates cops? Our medical companies aren't going to want to work with someone who'd tax them at fifty, sixty, seventy percent. Just remember, one phone call and I brought college football back."

That's how I would've advised Trump to handle that one.

6
2genders2scoops 6 points ago +6 / -0

I think as long as the President stresses that the vaccine is completely optional but a very good idea, he'll be fine bragging about it, as he damn well should, the speed at which they pushed through to develop a vaccine for a completely novel virus is unprecedented in our lifetime. Honestly "the party of science" should be in awe of what's he done to help these companies develop these drugs and vaccines.

I especially think if he steps up to the plate and shows himself getting the vaccine on camera, he will get mad respect. I know it won't be ready before election day most likely but he could make a promise that he will do it.

These morons were so quick to believe a story about Trump extorting Ukraine BEFORE we got the transcripts and BEFORE we knew where the story originated. Hell, most people still don't know the identity of the mysterious whistleblower...but they were so quick to condemn Trump and cry for impeachment.

Meanwhile we have ACTUAL emails / texts that insinuate Hunter Biden used his father's name to extort people and that there was inappropriate conduct between him and his 14 year old niece. And we don't have phantom whistleblowers we have several credible people (James Gilliar, Tony Bobulinski, Ruby G) who have said these things are true...

Yet despite there being more evidence of Hunter/Joe's corruption, Dems are pretending like it's a hoax. Jesus.

6
whippeat 6 points ago +6 / -0

The first part is somewhat fair. Trump doesn’t offend me because I am a confident guy and I can also be a bit of an asshole. But a lot of people really can’t understand or enjoy his type of personality.

What you should have said is that it doesn’t matter if he’s an asshole. YOU don’t have to deal with him. Him being an asshole doesn’t affect you in any way. If his personality bothers you, just don’t watch. The people who deal with him are politicians and other leaders. And in that situation, you actually WANT an asshole.

The biggest reason we will win is because, even after the KungFlu PandEmic, people are still better off than they were under O'Biden.

Always, a president who has a good economy wins. Even in 2020, there is a large section of voters that vote with their wallets. If things are good, they vote for the incumbent party. If things are bad, they vote for the other party. And it's generally enough to swing any election.

Two absolute knockouts -

"Who built the cages, Joe?"

and

"I would phase out the oil industry."

Good solid punches: The Corruption hits were good and they stuck. The questions about North Korea and Russia with election interference allow Joe to hurt himself. He really highlighted why we've been at war for 40 years.

EDIT: HOLY MOLY I forgot his immigration fiasco-

"There are no coyotes" -

ANYONE in the Latino Community knows there are Coyotes. That gaslighting statement "there are no Coyotes" ranks up there with "Antifa is just an idea"

4

Taking North Korea seriously as a country and trying to engage with Kim Jong Un as if he’s, you know, actually in charge of the place and can make independent decisions is akin giving food and speaking nicely to the pitbull your crazy neighbor has in their back yard.

NK is a vassal state of China, that basically does whatever China says. In return, China uses them like a shield against the rest of the world. Peeling NK support away from China, by convincing them they can stand on their own, is a massive blow to the CCP.

6
drachennwolf 6 points ago +7 / -1

The truth is, we did have a "good" relationship with Hitler. If by good, you mean we talked friendly with him. We weren't best buds, and we really pissed him off at the Olympics.

Historically this is a correct statement. We can't make it untrue because Hitler was a monster. We should learn from our mistakes, not try to whitewash them.

Kim Jong Un and the US had a happy few months, too. We should learn from that as well.

Trump DESTROYED the climate change question which is already a leftist topic. He first says we have cleanest water, air, and best emissions. He talks about how the rest of the world doesn’t do their part/live up to Paris Accord standards (classify as developing) or even contribute anywhere near the US. For the US to follow the standards would kill the economy.

And most importantly he has Biden ON TAPE lying about not wanting to ban fracking, saying he wants to end the oil industry, and wanting more regulation for businesses.

Especially during the awkward moment of silence.

We saw that at my house and yelled at the screen to PUSH ON he's still a dirtbag and backed by dirtbags! But our POTUS does have a heart of gold.

Trump won in a landslide.

At every turn he rebutted Sleepy JoePedo and turned the pointed questions back on him like a mirror.

He was calm, composed and collected like a stone cold killer. He was like a Lion that smelled blood and pounced on every single misstep.

Biden got away with nothing and payed for everything.

There were times where Joe looked over at Trump and tried to intemidate him. He was met with a righteous, unwavering stare that made Biden flustered and look away in panic.

I went to sleep laughing. It was everything I wanted. Trump was amazing.

ODonMAGA 11 points ago +11 / -0

True he was so calm. The muted mic actually worked in his favor. He waited patiently and was even smiling a lot.

Best line of the Debates and the entire campaign:- “Success will bring us together.” - Trump 2020

37
pomfffff2 37 points ago +37 / -0

From the very first topic it was clear the two offered 2 visions for America: on one side, fear, masks and social distancing and poverty, on the other one, freedom and wealth. Biden looked extremely tired, while it seemed Trump could have continued for hours. The "why didn't you do it during your 47 years in politics and 8 years in office" destroyed all of Biden's promises. Biden played the emotion card multiple times, talking about the regular people sitting around the table, crying about how Trump destroyed their dreams, that was 100% politicians theater and Trump called him out on it. Finally, the moderator did a pretty decent job.

He tried to play the morality card rofl

5
sustainable_saltmine 5 points ago +5 / -0

yes always the left and their feelings. feelings dont protect the country. feelings dont get jobs done. feelings dont help us preserve a national identity or help us make peace deals with other nations. so sick of the left and their "morality" shit

0
Isolated_Patriot 0 points ago +1 / -1

Their "morality" is always about protecting their "right" to sin and murder babies.

11 MILLION ILLEGALS

Peacefulprotesters 18 points ago +18 / -0

When I heard that I was like HOLY SHIT and this guy thinks that’s a good thing? Let’s just give 11 million randoms citizenship because its sounds like a nice thing to do. Comeonman

_molon_labe_ 1 point ago +1 / -0

Don't forget his official plan is to bring over 100,000 refugees per year, mostly from lin America. Currently, around ~15,000 a year come from Central, South, and the Caribbean.

Won't have to pay taxes, everyone who works is going to have to pay a shitload more.

8
SemperFree 8 points ago +8 / -0 (edited)

The promised biggest tax increase in our history should be enough for any sane person not to vote for Biden.

Problem is, the Commie base is 100% insane.

1
jslenterprises 1 point ago +1 / -0

Majority also don't pay taxes, because they're 100% broke, or don't even work... maybe part time barista gig at starcucks.

Its actually 21 million. The 11 million is recycled lies of data back to the Obama administration.

I liked the part where POTUS called Joe out for his dumb kitchen table BS. It was like out of early 90's political how to debate Dem guide. It made Biden look old and out of touch.

18
Donkey_Schmonkey 18 points ago +18 / -0

I’m also tired of hearing the “empty seat at the kitchen table” phrase. Most of the Covid deaths have been old folks who were is retirement homes and not eating at the kitchen table anyways.

And you just know their family never visited them. After they died, they fought over inheritance, gave a small impersonal funeral, and then forgot about them.

If at this point you think Trump is an idiot you need to go see the wizard. First debate, he was abrasive which he needed to be to force Biden to lose support from the radical left. 2nd debate he split the rust belt away from Biden. He was going to be composed in the final debate anyways because Trump made himself the focus of the whole thing. His message is the same but by normies comparing 1st debate Trump vs 2bd debate Trump, he comes out much better. Politics is about contrast and Trump totally removed Biden from that comparison.

3
Russianbot45 3 points ago +3 / -0

I'm confused. What second debate?

1
statesfrights 1 point ago +1 / -0

Dueling banjos town halls, or "The One Against the Media (without Joe)"

1
TheNewRepublic 1 point ago +1 / -0

Not sure if you’re making a joke or genuinely confused. There was never an actual second debate, my reference is to an actual event, to which there was 2.

Town hall vs Savannah perhaps

That was almost a “Because you’d be in jail” moment. People will remember that, and after you hear it, it’s all you hear when Biden speaks.

1
tombombadil 1 point ago +1 / -0

That was brilliant. Reminded me of Chris Christie destroying Marco Rubio’s primary chances with just one line.

By using, you know, the thing.

1
ObongoForPrison2020 1 point ago +1 / -0

The "magic" of a Biden "victory" is that Biden is actually correct about the Chinese Virus. Within weeks of his inauguration, the monetary benefit to hospitals will be removed and testing will be scaled to zero, same as H1N1 a decade ago. A Biden presidency will shut down the virus because people will completely stop caring, and within a year revisionist history will take over and smooth brain NPCs will all say "Biden stopped the virus!!"

When Trump wins, every American needs to grab their fucking sack and stop wearing masks, stop social distancing, stop paying fines, and start being normal. Democrat governors will punish their citizens over a Trump victory.

It's hard to hide from a 47 year career. Just 5 years ago it was a badge of honor to be in politics so long, now it's becoming a stain. Good for us.

1
Pilotaaron1 1 point ago +1 / -0

That was one of the mean reasons why Trump appealed to me so much. I firmly believe that career politicians are whats wrong with this country.

35
patriophilus 35 points ago +35 / -0

Biden's attempt to blame a Republican Congress for his doing nothing in 8 years with Obama needs to be fact checked as a straight out LIE! Democrats had majorities in both chambers of Congress in the first term of Obama/Biden until the mid term elections. They crammed through Obamacare without a single Republican vote (Pelosi even said that they had to pass it to see what was in it). After that train wreck of course congress changed but the Dems still had a majority in the Senate (remember that absolute azzhole Harry Reid?). When Biden said "Republican Congress" (probably repeating what somebody said in his ear), he looked like a triumphant toddler who was so proud of himself except that he was full of shite (that smug yet vacant look).

7
Shadilady 7 points ago +7 / -0

haha yeah, there was such a long akward pause there too, after he mumbled "Republican Congress". The moderator was going to allow him to expand, but then she realized he didn't know what else to say and bailed him out. Joe looked like a deer in headlights.

3
DeplorableWeWin 3 points ago +3 / -0

Actually trump was the one that bailed him out. Trump spoke first by saying “joe, you hsve to talk” he could have left it be longer and more awkward but it was long enough and free jab to break the silence

6
ramennov 6 points ago +6 / -0

except that he was full of shite

Probably quite literally, too.
