The left needs to watch Michael Moore’s documentary, the guy they idolize. Even he admitted the by products of solar and wind farms trash the environment far more than oil.
Solar is great in theory, however, it's not efficient enough yet and we also have the problem of them only lasting 20 or so years. With innovation over time I do think we'll see them become more common and maybe even get to a point where homes and business that don't have huge energy requirements can all generate their own energy without having to rely on monopolistic power companies.
